    I have starded Desperate Bounty at my first map cleanup, and Hrorek was alive. NPC started quest and rode with me to ambush site where he accidentally got killed. Now he remains dead by his horse where quest should start,I can read note on the tree, interact with his body and have no interaction with his horse. Jarl is also inactive on ambush site and bandits respawn only if i change country location via atlas, but always without the named one. You can see more details on my video. Please add to known issues list and solve this problem. Game is lit, but this bug locks my Platinum after playing for 130+ hours.

    I'd like to reach out to you all with an update. I'm happy to announce that the development team intend to deploy a fix for "A Desperate Bounty" in TU 1.2.2. This update will be deployed 15 June, 2021 at 2 PM CEST / 8 AM ET.
     
    If you are still encountering issues with "A Desperate Bounty" following TU 1.2.2, please don't hesitate to update this thread so we can take a closer look. Please include a video that shows the following:

    • You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can view this information in the opening game menu in the bottom right-hand corner.
    • That the issue continues to persists in-game following this update.

     
    Additionally, please ensure that you have an up-to-date save uploaded to the cloud. We can then pass these reports to the development team for further investigation.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to interact with Hrorek following his untimely death. Thanks for taking the time to share your report with us, and to include a video! I've passed this information along to the development team as part of the ongoing investigation.

    Please note that the player support team does not update the "Known Issues" list. This list is managed by the Community Management team. We will pass on your feedback to see if this issue can be included in a future update of the "Known Issues" list.

    @motojontko same issue here, I have platinum in the last 3 assassin creed game but in this is the ONLY quest remaining in Valhalla for me to get Complenist and the platinum. My LAST ubisoft purchase even do I have purchased all previous games and DLC, the response on this and the qty of bugs are simply awfull....from Montreal, where the company was born.

Please be assured that the development team is looking into Hrorek's untimely death in "A Desperate Bounty" further. We don't yet have any new updates to share from the investigation. As soon as we have any new information regarding this world event, we will be sure to notify you all within this thread as soon as we are able to.

    It takes "a little bit" to long to find a solution for such easy issue. If you have no idea how to fix it, remove this mystery from requirements to obtain trophy.
    I've got plats in every modern AC game and love these stories, but each were bugged and this one is still under development. What's the point of buying game for 40$ when it's not completed?

    Thanks for sharing your feedback with us, @motojontko. I'm afraid that I'm unable to speculate on how long an investigation into an issue may take, as I am not a member of the development team. I'm happy to share an update from the investigation with you, though!

    The development team intends to fix this issue in a future update. We don't yet have an ETA for when this update will be released. As soon as we have more definite information, this will be shared within this thread and in the News & Announcements forum.

    I was unable to complete this quest as when I got to the ambush and killed the enemies the guy with me had disappeared.I went back to the quest start point and found him dead by his horse.can anyone help me with this or will Ubisoft fix this.as I’m near to getting the platinum

    I've got the latest patch but I still can't complete the desperate bounty world event. The guy got killed and can't get passed to complete.
