    I’m investigate the ambush site for “The Lost Cauldron” and the investigation symbol for the wagon appears but won’t let me press triangle to investigate. I can’t reload the save because I continued playing hoping it would resolve itself. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!!

    Hello there!

    I'd like to reach out to you all with an update. I'm happy to announce that the issue wherein clues couldn't be interreacted with in "The Lost Cauldron" is due to be fixed in TU 1.2.1. This update will deployed 27 April, 2021 at 1 PM CEST / 8 AM ET.

    If you are still encountering issues with "The Lost Cauldron" following TU 1.2.1, please don't hesitate to update this thread so we can take a closer look. Please include a video that shows the following:
    - You have TU 1.2.1. installed. You can view this information in the opening game menu in the bottom right-hand corner.
    - The issue still occuring in-game.

    While trying to investigate where the cauldron went in The Lost Cauldron, I am unable to investigate the overturned cart. I began to investigate it once but then was attacked and was sent through the map to my death. Once returning to the area to investigate I am no longer able to investigate the cart preventing me from continuing the quest.

    Has anyone else run into this issue/found a work around? Haven’t seen this issue yet, everything else mentioning the quest seemed to be on re entering the mitten.

    While investigating the shield after the arrows and cart , enemies attacked me.

    The game pulled me out of the investigation animation but now doesn't register that I have already investigated the shield, now when I go over to the shield theres a eye symbol but I can't investigate.

    This is game breaking as I can't progress and I'm stuck with £60 game I can't play.

    Hi,
    During the quest, I need to investigate the ambush site. After the examination of 2 spots, I got attacked by enemies and thereafter, the 3rd spot cannot be found anymore. Well, it can be as the icon is still there but I can't examine the spot (with the shield on the ground).

    So I'm stuck and can't complete the game ...

    Any idea how to reset this quest?

    Hello, and I am very sorry for the delay in response! Thank you for your patience and providing this video! Restoring your licenses can sometimes resolve this. Could you both give that a try and let me know if you are still unable to interact with it? Apologies if you've already tried, just want to make sure.

    @ubikobold Thanks for reaching out.

    I play with the disk version on PS4 Pro. I did try to:

    • Delete all game (not saves) data with updates then reinstall it.
    • Power off the console for a day and come back.
    • Update the console.


    No improvement so far. Jötunheim is the last part of the game I need to do in order to finish it ... Hope the next Game Update will fix it.

    Thank you for trying that guide and letting me know what else you have tried. I am very sorry that you have not been able to finish the game due to this issue. I have reported this up to Game team for them to further investigate. Do you think you could create a ticket and provide your save files for your game? I would like to forward those up as well. Once you've attached your save files, you can provide your ticket number back here. Thanks!
