Hello, I just purchased this game after completing Odyssey 100% on hardest mode and looking forward to doing the same with Valhalla. It appears I am having some issues with some of my Display Settings in the menu options. I have more than adequate hardware to support HDR and have turn it on in Windows 10. Upon AC Valhalla startup through a new game, I was able to initially adjust my in game brightness and contrast before selecting HDR. Since then, I have not been able to see HDR, Brightness, contrast nor Maximum Luminance. So basically, HDR and Image options are gone.

I have tried to log out of game, turn off HDR in Windows 10, then log back in and still they are missing. I have not been able to find any Ubisoft threads on this topic, however when doing a google search, there are several reddit posts I have found where other players are experiencing same or similar issues when using HDR across all platforms.

I am playing on PC with a LC32G7xT SamSung 1000R curve Monitor and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super GPU.

Is this bug known to the developers and is there going to be a fix for this? Looking for answers and suggestions. Thank you!

In addition to HDR issues, when I NOW turn off HDR in Windows 10 and try to log back into previous saved game it crashes. It is not until I go back and turn HDR back on in Windows 10 that I can safely play the game without crashing. I still waiting for intelligent reply, please help.

Please note, this is my 2nd time in as many weeks posting same issue and I have yet to get a response. From the posts in reddit, I know I am not the only one experiencing this issue. So why is there lack of feedback in here?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello, and I hope you are having a good day. I am sorry for my late response, but thank you for your patience. Thanks for your detail revolving around this missing settings issue. Could you provide a video of your in-game settings? I would like to forward this to the Game team for further review. For a video, just post it to YouTube as unlisted and then send me the link here.

Also, if you could create a support ticket and attach your DxDiag file, that would be useful as well. Thanks so much!
