Good day. Ever since the new upgrade a couple of days ago I have experienced some minor issues.

The first one is that the game is crashing often. Before the upgrade, I had about 100 hours into the game and in all that time the game crashed a total of 5 maybe 6 times. Total. In 100 hours. My computer usually runs the game smoothly I only have lagged images when I've been way too many hours on the computer. But since the upgrade I have had the chance to play only about 4 hours and in that little amount of time, the game has crashed 3 times already. It just freezes for a few seconds before it shuts down the game and Ubisoft connect prompts me to send a crash report (which I have done most of the time). As I said, I don't think this is a big issue. The game otherwise works mostly perfectly and the game allows me to play a good amount of time before crashing. 3 times in 4 hours allows me to play 1 hour or more without issue. Which is not too bad. Not ideal, but the issue is bearable. Still, it would be nice if it gets fixed. I know that the computer is not an issue because I was able to play 100 hours before the upgrade without any problems and smooth gameplay. I am here writing this right after the game died on me and I am a bit frustrated by rather shorter gameplay I got today before a crash.

The second issue is that when I first load my game right after turning it on, the game gives me this notification to check out the store for my owned contents and my add-ons because I have newly bought items. I do not. I haven't bought anything, but I still I decided to check and, as expected, there is nothing new there. The game just keeps giving me this false notification when I turn it on. This is also a very minor issue. the notification disappears normally after a few seconds and the game carries on.

The following bug could be an existing issue from before the upgrade, but I can't say for certain: yesterday I played the epilogue of the game for the first time and the mission where Guthrum and Eivor saved his men from the Saxon fort got bugged. After freeing them, I was supposed to follow Guthrum but he would just stand there doing nothing. I could not talk to him or anything. It really got me scared because I had already had to repeat that mission before since the game had crashed on me and I was not looking forward to repeating it yet again. I fixed the problem by teleporting to the nearest viewpoint and travelling back to the fort where Guthrum was waiting for me. He started walking, I followed, and then we talked. The mission was completed successfully. Big bug but easy fix. I don't know if the bug existed prior to the upgrade.

As a side note: I just finished the epilogue and I am currently hunting down the remaining order members. The game was amazing despite the few bumps in the road. Thank you, Ubisoft. Great game. I even got to date Randvi despite of Taken for Granted not working for me! I don't know how I unlocked the wedding quest but I did and I could date Randvi. I am happy (you still should fix Taken for Granted, though).
    Anyways, have a good day.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@dragonhale1 Hey there! I hope that you are having a good day and I am so sorry for my delay in getting back to you. Thank you very much for providing this detailed description of the issues that you have encountered with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Let's see if I can address all of them. 🙂

Starting with the freezes and crashing that you have experienced, please verify your game files and complete our guide here. However, if these issues persist, please create a Support Ticket and attach your MSinfo and DxDiag files. Then return here with your Ticket number so that I may review the files and further assist.

In regards to the notification to check the Store and your Owned contents, this is a known issue that the Game team is currently working to resolve. It's happening in my game on PS4 as well, so I'm right there with you as we patiently wait on this fix.

For the Epilogue mission with Guthrum, I am glad that you were able to resolve this and not have to repeat the mission again! However, I would like to ensure that this has been reported. Can you provide the name of that mission?

Then for the 'Taken for Granted,' the Game team has been investigating reports of not being able to complete this Quest, but I am glad that you were able to date Randvi like you wanted!
