I saw a lot of those skulls in England but never thought about it but maybe it has to do something with the upcomming Wrath Of The Druids Expansion?undefinedundefined

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

The Daughters of Lerion (King Lear) seem to worship the 'old' gods of England, similar to what we assume the Children of Danu in Ireland may worship.

It's the same with the skulls you see in the pictures you shared, which are known as 'Nithing Poles'. It's an old Germanic custom where the head of a horse is set on a pole, often outside the home of a person, in order to lay a curse on them. Hence why Eivor will mention a 'foul nithing curse'. In some of the notes you find around these cursed areas, you will see mentions of prayers to Wotan, the old Saxon god. Which stands out among the almost entirely Christian population of England.

So yes, we will likely see more of these curses in the haunted woods of Ireland. It's all druidic magic.
