i'm enjoying the emphasis on stealth in the royal request missions in wrath of the druids, but when the challenge is 'no unessential kills' it can get extremely challenging and a bit frustrating when you're nearly always out of adrenaline and can't fire a sleep arrow/thorn of slumber. unequipping your melee weapons doesn't work, and there aren't enough pickpocket or looting opportunities to bump up adrenaline.

we really need a melee knockout ability - it's frustrating that the DLC has this emphasis on stealth and avoiding kills but hasn't added this, or something like a sleep smoke bomb.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    This seems... a silly oversight.

Can has "Hold R3 to knock out" as an option alongside assassinate?
Or even a lethality toggle in the Quick Access menu? So that "Assassinate" may always default to "knock out" if the player's "Lethality" toggle is set to "non-lethal". I know I would like this even for the base game, not everyone need die.

@macsneedy the upgrade to the smoke bomb arrow makes it catch fire, which is bad. how did they get this so wrong?

@macsneedy Odyssey had this option, always giving you two prompts (subdue/assassinate) when sneaking up on something, so it's super weird that they didn't think to keep it. They also had the blunt arrows you could use. The fact that there was that section about arrow crafting in the tutorials section in the database in Valhalla, but is nowhere to be found in-game, makes this a particularly glaring issue.

Even Bayek could knock people out before he got his hidden blade.
