I'd like to reach out to you all with an update. I'm happy to announce that the development team intend to deploy a fix for "Flann Over Ireland" in TU 1.2.2. This update will be deployed 15 June, 2021 at 2 PM CEST / 8 AM ET.
If you are still encountering issues with "Flann Over Ireland" following TU 1.2.2, please don't hesitate to update this thread so we can take a closer look. Please include a video that shows the following:
- You have the latest Title Update installed on your platform. You can view this information in the opening game menu in the bottom right-hand corner.
- That the issue continues to persists in-game following this update.
Additionally, please ensure that you have an up-to-date save uploaded to the cloud. We can then pass these reports to the development team for further investigation.

This is a joke… I have abandoned the game out of boredom. Last time I buy an Assassin’s DLC and I’m starting to think about not buying more Ubisoft games. So far I have recommended all my contacts against the DLC and we should all do the same in social media. See if that way they take it seriously…

I just checked the status of this issue and I can see that this will be resolved with a future update. Once the resolution is deployed, we are going to let everyone know through the patch notes.

Same here. Unable to speak with Ciara to follow Barid at the stables. She is still in the tavern and doesn't move. It has been 2 weeks...

I bought the season pass a few days ago, cleared all of Ireland, then started the storyline. I have this exact same bug with Barid stuck at the stables and Ciara at the pub. I also tried everything to get it to reset so I can continue but nothing I tried worked. I'm honestly SHOCKED that after over 3 weeks now it is STILL NOT resolved. It is a gamebreaking bug of the main story. It's like the second quest of that story. You are not going to tell me that their testing team missed that (provided that this DLC was even playtested). Such gamebreaking bugs should be given priority and be resolved within a week!
All I see here is that the issues have been reported to the development team. What have they been doing all this time? Nothing. So basically I spent 30 EUR on a broken DLC where I cannot continue the main story. In my line of business that is enough to warrant a CLAIM. It's like selling a car with busted brakes.
I will no longer purchase any games nor DLCs going forward from this [censored] company. I'm done with Ubisoft. Enjoy my 30 Euros you thieving bastards! I have told all my friends not to buy the season pass or this DLC.
@ubi-borealis and @ubi-mark hi.. this is really becoming to [censored] be crazy.. every day coming here to see if there is any progress and discover that there is nothing.. only more players encountering the same problem.. all players stuck, impossible to progress in the game.. considering how much we pay to have this game, and the season pass this is just outrageous to see how many players cannot progress in the game.. no response from any of you about fixing it or any commercial gesture.. just “they are working on it and you will have news when it will be fixed” this is crazy.. I completely abandoned the game for over a month.. I don’t even want to play again.. thank for nothing and for the silence
Thank you for continuing to update this thread with your experiences with "Flann Over Ireland." I'm sorry to hear that this issue is preventing you from progressing further in the "Wrath of the Druids" expansion. We don't yet have any new updates to share from the development team involving the investigation, including an ETA for when the fix will be deployed. I understand that this may not be the update you were hoping for, and apologise for any disappointment that may have been caused.
Please note that the player support team are unable to speculate on unconfirmed details, such as providing release dates when these are not available. As soon as we have more definite information to share, it will be posted within this thread and in the News & Announcements forum as soon as we are able to do so.

@ubi-borealis it is what it is im just glad to complete the main story in England which had a number of bugs which got patched or a work around so I'm sure something will be sorted soon I was frustrated until I got my platinum lol, I've managed to collect seven of the 9 in Ireland without continuing with flann over Ireland, it'll get sorted lol

@ubi-borealis let me first say - I'm sure youre a great person and none of us here have anything against you personally. So by 'you' please understand we mean Ubisoft/Anvil.
so.. I've just about 100% the rest of the game. If your bosses can't see why this is a problem - that the main mission is completely broken to the point where a user would have to start over to enjoy it - and take it seriously enough to release the needed hotfix... I'm starting to side with the more strict users here. I feel completely ripped off of my time, energy AND money. Nothing is being done to satisfy us during the delay and no urgency is being given to an issue that has cost us money. This seriously looks like you all just took our money and now don't give a dang.
Ive spoken to a few of the other users who are seriously being let down by this game. If this isn't fixed by end of June then we're going to launch a campaign to destroy the meta scores and rating of this game on every platform and request refunds where we can.
This isn't personal to you but this is personal to us.. its our personal time and personal money and personal entertainment all of which are in seriously limited supply right now.
@Taily2020 - Thank you for your understanding. We hope to have more definite information to share regarding the fix for "Flann Over Ireland" soon. I'd recommend keeping an eye out within this thread and in the News & Announcements forum, as any news we have about updates will be shared in these places. I hope you will be able to get your platinum for "Wrath of the Druids" soon!
@SeawardGhost - Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us regarding your experience with "Flann Over Ireland." I'm sorry that this issue has prevented you from progressing further in "Wrath of the Druids." Please note that not all issues can be resolved with a hot fix. Hot fixes are temporary back-end solutions, and it is not possible to make substantial changes through these. In some cases, a permanent fix is required via a Title Update. You can read more about the differences between hot fixes and Title Updates in this Dev Blog, if you're interested to know more.
I would like to assure you that the development team have been working on creating a permanent fix for this issue, and it is due to be deployed in a future update. We still don't have any new information to share regarding when this update will be deployed. I understand that you would like more definite information about when the fix will be released, and that this may not be the update you were hoping for. As soon as we have more details to share, they will be posted within this thread and in the News & Announcements forum as soon as it is available.
We hope to have more updates to share with you all soon. In the meantime, please feel free to share your experiences and feedback regarding "Flann Over Ireland" within this thread.

This is crazy totally care less from Ubisoft it’s proved that all you care about is get as much money of of the players. Put out a dlc that is broken most of us payed full price for the game and season pass now it been sone 1 months. What do we get in return??? Just a sorry and ask to wait. Not a word about when the next update will be not a refund question now you can buy the game 40% off and dlc 30% off . I have send save files video whatever you have ask me to do since 14 of may I can’t continue this game . Now it’s time for Ubisoft to give something in return. And I want a answer not a standard sorry message bring some one from the team that can give us a explanation off why this is taking so long time .

@kaiage81 They don’t care… they have our money. They are not releasing further DLC’s so they think by the time they release another game we will buy it and everyone else the same. We should be initiating a campaign for everyone to know about this… otherwise it can be another 2-3 months until they do something about it

Is there any information on if and when this bug will be fixed? Been atleast 1 month and there planning on releasing another dlc, hell fix this one!
This is just crazy.. it’s been a month since @acedyn22 wrote the first post, and since the DLC was available on May 13th.. this is unbelievable.. since we all paid a lot for this one month ago, nobody can continue the main mission.. except by starting the game from the beginning.. and what is Ubisoft saying? Same post every week!! I agree with the posts about creating a collective to boycott all further Ubisoft games.. this company should be paying us back the price of this DLC for this..
do we really have to wait another month, or even better 3 or 4 month to be able to enjoy what we paid for? Do we have to read other posts from @ubiborealis or any of his coworkers saying that the staff is doing what they can and that we will have informations in the news and announcements section? Reading this platitudes every once in a while is really annoying.. feels like the staff is bullshiting us cause they have no idea how they will fix this.. and don’t either want to admit it nor pay us back..
