    Is there a general consensus as to the state of Wrath of the Druids?

    I haven’t played Valhalla in months, but my Internet is laggy today so I’m taking a break from my usual game. The River Raids (which I hadn’t done yet) are not very inspiring so far.

    I’m wondering if Wrath of the Druids is worth it or not. Admittedly, my Valhalla experience has been pretty mediocre (especially compared to Origins and Odyssey).

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Then the odds of the Druids expansion changing your opinion of the game are slim and none.

    It's not too bad, but it's not going to knock your socks off.

    30+ hours of different enemies, different economy mechanics, and a few more character deaths.

    @dreadgrrl In all honesty, if your experience in Valhalla has been mediocre, then you should wait to get WotD when it goes down in price. It’s pretty short and is a lot like the usual missions in the main game. spoiler The main story of the dlc was also pretty predictable. And as usual it has a few bugs, but Ubisoft seems to be fixing them a little quicker these days.
    It’s an okay dlc, but I don’t think it’s really worth what they are charging for it. I should have cost $10-$15 less.

    @ghostagent14 Thank you. Based on some of the comments in that thread, and a couple of the ones in this thread, I’ll wait for a sale.

    @whocares78 You appear to be very much on my wavelength when it comes to Valhalla. I’ll wait for a sale. It’s $35 CAD regular price: just for the single expansion.

    Does the DLC contribute in any meaningful way to AC lore or the modern day story?

    @dreadgrrl It contributes nothing to the modern story nor to the AC lore. Hytham is only in it for a brief moment at the beginning.

    @whocares78 Cool. Thanks.

    I’ll wait for a deep discount.
