Why does this even exist? It is annoying! If it's because of the render speed of the map on consoles, give us option on the PC version to turn it off! If it's because of some kind of immersion, then let me decide how i immerse myself. I can slow down the horse myself without being forced to it. I doubt there is a single person that likes the forced horse speed reduction in cities. Just remove it, please, or give us an option to turn it off! It is good for absolutely nothing and it's just annoying.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@freestepper I disagree. Reduced speed in cities is more realistic. I mean, you can't drive at highway speeds on city streets, right?

@freestepper just go on foot and sprint ,is faster and you can climb the walls as well so is more practical not using horse in town.

@fortyniners354 Are you serious? You can't drive at highway speeds in cities, but no laws of physics forbids it. Yes, you must likely would crash and kill somebody and until then, cops would be after you, but you can step on the gas hard to get the speed. There is no any higher power that's disables you to do that. Stop comparing it to real life. You will just fail. As i said, i want to decide when i want to slow down. If i'll see that it's not good to go fast in cities, i will slow down. I WILL, not Ubisoft slowing me down. Realistic my a*s.

Many people didn't like it in Odyssey, many people doesn't like it in Valhalla. Because it's pure nonsense! If you want to keep your "realism", then we could have option to turn the horse limit in cities off. We would turn it off, you could keep it on. Win for everybody.
