First of all, I got stuck at Flann over Ireland.
I was supposed to escort Ciara and Bárid. But Bárid didn't leave Dublin. Then I decided to start over again. When I first played WotD I completed Trial of the Morrigan in Meath. Now there is a marker on my map, but I can't interact with it.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I'm also experiencing this problem on my second playthrough. Playing on PC.

And yes, it's pretty sad to see this hasn't been fixed after a year of reports.

@ubi-borealis I'd like to share that i have the very same problem as other people have. Completed and upgrated all the outposts in Ireland on my first playthrough and decided to start over and i get those quests for those outposts, but it won't let me complete it as they seems to be already fully upgraded. Please fix.

@ubi-theberry all you do is give the same response to a problem that's been going on for over a year, with Ubisoft earning $2.5 billion a year I'm sure they could of hired a developer/coder to resolve this issue or even if you had spent just an half an hour a day surely this issue would of been fixed in less than 182 hours. it seems all your interested in is rushing out as many DLC as you can to squeeze even more money out of loyal customers, getting to that charging people who bought gold edition and especially ultimate editions of Valhalla for Ragnorak is not right and surely against some sort of trading standards as it needs the base game to play ragnorok so should be free with assassins creed Valhalla ultimate edition.Ubisoft needs to up their game with customer care/support

The first playthrough I completed the trade posts on was my new playthrough. I wanted instead to go back to my original high powered account. After much messing around with saves i did delete the "first" playthrough. It did NOT fix anything.

on my second save which is my main one I cannot interact with them and start the fights. Strange is also that my codex is almost complete despite the fact I was never in Ireland before with that save file. Playing on ps4

@ubi-borealis is there a time line or any sort of update on this fix? We're approaching a year since this was first reported and nothing has been done?

Hello there @SanguinPaladin2! Welcome to the forums 🙂

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm sorry to hear that this issue with restoring Trade Posts has prevented you from replaying through "Wrath of the Druids" a second time on another save game. The development team are aware that this issue is preventing players from enjoying subsequent playthroughs of the Ireland expansion, and are looking into this further.

Once we have any updates to share from the investigation into this issue, we will let you know within this thread. Additionally, any future updates will also be posted within the News & Announcements forum via patch notes, so please keep an eye out for these.

@margal_666 I only recently started playing Valhalla, and today, 2/13/2022, I ran into the same issue. I had previously completed "Wrath of the Druids" with another save game. This second save game I am currently playing already has the trade posts discovered and upgraded, so I can't even complete "Trade: Giving Your Words", which is one of the earliest missions in the expansion. It's especially frustrating because in this second save game I have completed the main quest, fully upgraded Ravensthorpe, obtained all of Thor's armor and Mjolnir, Gungnir, Excalibur, and accomplished a bunch of other things.

Hello there @Beliskner558! Welcome to the forums 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered trouble whilst playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla. You mention that you're having issues with restoring Trade Posts, but also with corrupted saves and game ending issues. Is this correct?

The dedicated teams are aware that players are unable to restore Trade Posts during subsequent playthroughs of "Wrath of the Druids," and they are investigating this issue further. We don't yet have any updates to share from the investigation into Trade Posts at this time. The Player Support team are checking in with the dedicated teams regularly. As soon as we have any new information to share with you from the team, it will be posted within this thread.

If you're having trouble with saves corrupting, then I recommend that you share your report about these experiences in our dedicated Megathread for corrupted saves. We can then take a closer look at this.

I'm aware that there are a couple of ongoing investigations for issues that may be preventing you from completing the story of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. If you haven't already, I recommend you check out our "Reported Issues Megathread List" to see if the "game ending" issue you're encountering already has an open Megathread. If you cannot find a thread for your issue, please can you create one, and we can investigate this further too.

    Thank you 😊

@ubi-borealis So, nine months on and no fix for known issues. Guess this is what happens when political virtue signaling trumps creating a stable and entertaining game. Trade post issues, save files corrupting all other unrelated saves. Game ending issues and no tangible fix other than to write it off as time Stolen. For my part I should have done more research before buying the game, had an ignorant belief that I could buy in confidence as a result of past experience with the franchise. Enjoy the brief profits from grifting off of past accomplishments, may it all wither and turn to dust amongst the arid sands. Peace be with you.

@chief_keith117 Having same issue. All the stores I completed in previous run are there, I have deeds but unable to complete the quest. The place where you would put the deed is not present at all. So unable to get any trade post activated even though I have all the deeds.

@ubi-woofer Same issue here, Wrath of the Druids DLC completed but still showing 3 trade post quests, can’t fast travel. Same as the other users. I’ve already restarted a playthrough because of the trophy glitch from ps4 to ps5, and now this glitch…total of over 400 hours played ! Hope ubi finds a fix soon

Im having the same issue. My original save had 246 hrs on it, and I decided to make a new one a few days ago. I’m at about the 15 hour mark, when I decided to start the Ireland dlc again. I play on Xbox series s, and I’ve just completed the quest where I had to secure the Rathdown post. I’m currently trying to secure the Drumlish post, but it already says “controlled” and the deed is not spawning. I also had an issue where one of the wolves kept spawning inside a building that was already there (one of the upgrades I did in my original save that carried over) so I had to use the piercing shot ability to kill it, as I couldn’t enter the building. As people have previously mentioned, all the posts say they are controlled, with all the upgrades already acquired, making trade post supplies worthless in this save. Hope you guys fix this soon lol
