Is there a limit to merchants selling rations? They seemed to have stopped selling them. I've tried reloading, meditating and fast traveling.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@loklor97 The merchants should usually refill their stock each time you level up. Make sure to check back each time you do, and see if it's functioning correctly.

@loklor97 That's odd. It may be a bug, I'm not sure.

Rations certainly aren't hard to come by in the world though. You can get them from looting most things, animals, dead bodies, even fish. And ofc. berries.

Edit: it may refill once you level up the settlement, not the player.

@orcbeard92 Merchant resets when you level up by XP to be exact. Getting a level by fulfilling an altar or so doesn't count.
And I haven't bought a single ration from a merchant in the entire game. As you said, enough easy ways to get them for free.
