I have all the content completed so far and I'm looking for a way to grind the Master Assassin challenge since it doesn't work at the training grounds anymore.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I did it in a bandit camp during a Redas missing person quest, the trophy just popped up.
You can always look for a guide on YouTube to see best location.
But Glowestercire main town starting at the docks is good, you can do 17 assassinations in a row as the guards are blind and deaf and always by pairs. I always go there to perform the 100 assassinations weekly challenge. Just stay crouched use odin sight and avoid the area where they are all together, look for the guards in couples, and then there's a church on the north of town you get 6 more assassinations there, and on the northern exit another 5 I think, just east from little church. Piece of cake.

@garbo3 Lincoln is a good spot too. Not hostile and many pairs of big guys.
Assassinate first, use Feign Death ability, assassinate second, then take out the little guys with the weekly weapon.

Allow me to erase any 'futile' recommendations... The general consensus dictates that "This location is best!", "This strategy works!" and so forth. However, it's entirely coincidental how you plan to grind upwards to Master Assassin. Valhalla is poor in grinding in taht it doesn't reward you for hammering up hours, and instead hands you a couple dozen opal here, ingots there, and an odd thousand EXP where it's not needed. It's great in the short term, don't get me wrong, but when you're seeking the higher-bar achievements -- as you are -- it's ever-so frustrating.

I recommend not stressing about where to go, but what you're doing. As somebody has aforementioned here on this thread, Winchester is apparently a good location (by most accounts). However, I'd almost say to ditch that. Go for areas with high concentration of enemies, and, if you happen to have access to an external console or means of playing, run a separate playthrough on normal or hard to ensure you're not losing the ropes stranded in the difficulty of your mission. I'd imagine you'd need to practice in your spare time before any decency comes about in this sort of challenge.

Yet, there's no true "assassin" essence evident in Valhalla. Stealth is broken, and if you're going to commit to the challenge, let me tell you -- it's going to be hell.

But yes. More enemies = the better. I'm not one for attempting it, but it sounds irritating that the training grounds method is all but inaccessible now. My condolences if this is not the answer you were seeking. I tried to articulate my points in a way that resonated with your situation, but I've never even considered Master Assassin for myself.

Good luck on your endeavours. I hope it all works out. 😊

@theexpcoffee You can do half of the challenge in the time it takes to write a post like this.
