Thanks for sharing this insight, @yazx_! I hope that this might help @lemmie88 and anyone else who was struggling to roll after jumping. Please do let us know if this works for you as well, @lemmie88!
We'll continue to keep you all updated regarding the missing input for rearing your horse on PC. I reproduced this previously following reports in May, as did @Ubi-Borealis, so we're keeping a close eye on this one! Thanks.
Hello there @Ibsarp!
Thanks for reaching out. I've checked in on the investigation, and it looks like the development team are still taking a closer look at why players on PC cannot rear up the mount on PC. Rest assured that any future updates regarding this issue will be shared within the News & Announcements forum, so I'd recommend keeping an eye out there for the most up-to-date information.
Thanks!

Well - could the reason possibly be that there is no key binding for it?
Hope they can figure this out.
And add one.
Hint: in Odyssey you climb off your horse with E and rear up with C.
In Valhalla you climb off with C so rear up is cut off.
@kormac67 I would guess this is less a complexity issue as much a priority issue.
Seems a simple thing to make it the same input as on a controller (dodge button/L Alt) as it does nothing else while mounted.
And for any other keyboard players interested, its confirmed we also can't do the fast forward roll.

Please don't neglect us keyboard ppl!
@Kormac67 I'm unable to say if the lack of a keybinding has anything to due with this issue. I can confirm that this is still under investigation, however.
@lemmie88 Rest assured that keyboard users aren't being neglected! I am sorry to hear about not being able to use the roll as well, however. I recommend just keeping an eye out for updates on this specific issue, and keeping an eye on the roll thread for updates on that as well.
It's certainly a similar issue, @bielik01 - and one that is also being looked into by our team. We'll be looking to get it resolved as soon as possible.
Mounts aren't Making any animations !!! No Lion roar or anything for the lion .. I play on PC
I tried every button but nothing ... will be there any fix at all to this problem ???
@elnaser80 Hey there, sorry to hear you aren't seeing animations for the mounts. Can you please upload or link a short clip of this, so I can look into the issue further?
@ubi-spacecats Thanks for your reply .. it is not a matter of clip .. the game is running fine on ultra .. the thing is : there is no key for the animation of the mount !!
on youtube I saw when you have a lion mount you can make him roar ..while riding it ... on PC i can't find a key which can do that !! and when I searched the internet I found that it is a bug or something to PC only
Hi @coolhawk2010 @lbsarp I have checked but I'm afraid there are no further updates on this and it is still being investigated.
Please keep checking the News & Announcements section for updates as this is where the patch notes are posted.
@elnaser80 before anyone tries to capture a clip of something NOT happening, here is a thread about it:
https://discussions.ubisoft.com/topic/98916/pc-key-binding-for-mount-standing-on-hind-legs-roar-animation
tl;dr It is confirmed (and reproduced by support staff) that it is not possible without a gamepad. Still "under investigation" by the game team. Which I think translates to: they know and have no plans to fix it.
Hey @elnaser80, appreciate your response and welcome to forums!
Just as @lemmie88 suggested above, as far as rearing mount (specifically on PC with keyboard and mouse) is concerned, this is indeed a matter that has been brought up by other players and is already under on-going review by our development team.
As of right now, we do not have any updates about this, however as soon as we will, details will be posted here, in our official forums, so keep an eye!
