I, personally, like the Iberian set at the moment, for reasons which pertain to my specific build.

But I'm curious... what is your favourite of the 4 -- Iberian, Egyptian, Byzantine, or Rus'?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@theexpcoffee I like the looks of the Iberian so I "transmorged" my set to this one. Plus am Iberian so feels like home 😆. Sentiments aside it just looks amazing and is got not horrible shoulder pads.
But am using Gothic Bracers and boots as hate shiny golden colours in my armour.

Yes, I agree the armour has a certain 'finesse' to it. It is a fine, unique set which I believe is unparalleled by most others -- apart from the mask bearing some resemblance of the Egyptian mask/helmet. And that's great to hear heritage/ancestry/nationality/etc. plays a part in your decision... nothing like respecting your cultures!

I also like most of all this version of the armor, it looks quite interesting and unusual. It has an oriental atmosphere for those who love and respect their culture, this is definitely a good choice. Reminiscent of the Ophir armor set from The Witcher 3.

Did you know that the Vikings were gambling people?
Lindisfarne Island was once home to monks. There was a medieval monastery there, which, as is known from written sources, was captured by the Vikings in 793 AD. The found artifact also belongs to that period. It is a figurine that measures two centimeters across. The artifact is decorated with patterned carvings and five spheres and is made of blue glass.

Archaeologists have identified in this piece a figurine that was part of a Viking board game called hnefatafl. It is known that it was played by high-ranking Vikings. The game has Roman roots and was originally known as ludus latrunculorum.

When the Romans invaded new lands, this game began to spread to new territories. Everywhere it was called differently, but the key word in the name remained the word "tafl" (tafl). It was actively played in Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Denmark and Sweden. This game was supplanted by chess, which appeared in these countries in the XI-XII centuries.

I can say to myself that I myself am quite a gambler. Back in high school, I wanted to be a pro poker player. I won't go into details, but over the years I've played a lot of poker online, in casinos and behind the scenes, winning and losing my fair share. Overall, I won a lot of money. Some considered me to be one of the best young poker players. Now I have switched more to slot machines. I love to play slots from Novomatic, Amaya and Microgaming, for about a month I have been playing find here. A friend suggested that I liked this site very much because they have a large selection of slot machines, a user-friendly interface and design, and much more ... So I recommend it!
