Meath:Death to All - missing target means I cannot clear the mission. I tried leaving Meath to sort out some Ulster and Connacht missions after the bug initially appeared. The other targets are there and can be suitably dealt with except for a strange ghost body with the "dagger confirm kill" icon hanging over nothing at all.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hello @blindside6ajfh, I'm sorry to hear about this confirm kill issue you've come across during the Death to All quest in Meath. To take a closer look at this with you, could you please record a clip of this occurring, upload the clip as an unlisted video to YouTube, and send me the link here? Thanks!

@ubi-mercury not sure if I can do that. I have a screenshot from two days ago I could email. Would that do?

You could share your screenshot with us in this thread, @Blindside6AJFH, and we'll gladly take a closer look! I recommend uploading the image to a sharing platform, such as Google Drive or One Drive, and sending us a link to the image, as you may have some trouble uploading it directly into this thread.

    Thanks 😊

The link should work. It was a dim foggy mission but the symbol and lack of body is evident.

Thanks so much for sending us that image, @Blindside6AJFH! I've passed your report along to the development team so they can take a closer look.

Would you be able to describe how you originally played through this contract for us? This will be helpful in reproducing the issue during the development team's testing. For example, did you clear out the camp in a stealthy manner, or aggressively? Did you use any specific abilities or weapons?

    Thanks! 😊

    Hello again @Blindside6AJFH!

The development team have been investigating your report further, and would like to collect some additional information from you.

Have you been able to reproduce this issue again in-game, or did it only happen once? If possible, would you be able to provide a video that shows you reproducing the steps that resulted in this issue with the missing target occuring?

If you're unable to reproduce the issue, please can you let us know the steps you took during the contract in as much detail as possible? This will be helpful as the development team try to reproduce the issue in testing.

    Thanks! 😊

@ubi-borealis I have the same issue. I can not go back and recreate it because it is locked and will not clear. I initially killed the desired targets as directed, however, when I went to confirm the kill, I accidentally moved the body (I had killed multiple people in one area) and the dagger stayed floating in the air and there was no longer a way to confirm the kill. Now it is perpetually locked that way. I have tried rebooting and even waited til the last update to go back and play it again but it still has a floating dagger with no body and no way to finalize the mission. Thanks for looking into this and hopefully this helps.

Hello there @jslambert24! Welcome to the forums 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to share your report with us, as well as letting us know what you did during the contract that caused the floating dagger to appear. Would you be able to provide us with some more information?

    • You mention that you accidentally moved the body and that the dagger stayed floating in the air. Just to clarify, was the dagger originally floating over the body you moved, and just didn't move when you picked up the body? Can you let us know where you placed the body after picking it up?
    • Are you able to provide us with any images or video footage that shows you're unable to interact with the dagger symbol as expected? I'd recommend uploading any videos to a sharing platform (such as YouTube or Google Drive) then posting a shareable link within this thread.

We can then forward this for further investigation.

    Thanks! 😊
