    After Hildiran's hut has been build during a A Challenge from the Gods, before you walk towards her behind the building and start a fight with her, from certain angles the screen turns completely black.

    You can still walk around and turn the camera, turning the camera away from her removes the black screen, initiating the conversation with her does that too. But it's still pretty weird.

    To fix this I had to completely close the game and reboot it. It seems like it doesn't correctly load or something when first spawning the new building.

    This doesn't look right, I must admit.

    Can you please perform all the troubleshooting steps listed in this article? This will help you to resolve any potential software conflicts.

    Additionally, if you're still experiencing this, can you please confirm if it's happening consistently, or any specific actions have to be triggered (or what actions have you performed before triggering this issue), so I can pass it along to the development team?

    @Ubi-Mark No idea what kind of 'software conflicts' are even possible on an xbox one but ok. I have of course power cycled my console, i've been with xbox since the launch of the original xbox, I know my way around xboxes 🙂 But as I said, fully closing the game and rebooting it seemed to have fixed it at least for me. So I haven't encountered it a second time. It only seemed to be happening after the cutscene where the new Ravensthorpe building gets introduced.

    Step by step: I just talked to Hildiran at the crash site, she is invited to stay in Ravensthorpe. The game goes into a long loading screen, the camera pans around the new building to introduce it. After this cutscene I immediately walked towards Hildiran, ending up with this black screen. Saved at that exact location, rebooted the game fully, and it was gone. If I look at the floor it also seems that flickers a tiny bit too, I my personal guess was that something with the graphics didn't load correctly, but that's coming from a layman.

    @kennyannydenny The same is happening to me and I'm PS5 and even closing the game, Changing my loadout and reloading old saves isn't working to fix this issue as I am extremely interested in playing the new update.

    Thank you for sharing this and I'm really sorry that you are experiencing this issue as well.

    It looks like data corruption, to be honest - can you please perform the steps listed in this article? Secondly, can you please reinstall your game? This will help you to eliminate any potentially corrupted data.

    @ubi-mark I have redownloaded the game and the black screen no longer appears but I have made another post about what is happening to me where I go to start the fight with the old lady and she knocks my character to the ground in the cut screen and then she walks away and I am unable to continue the quest and the quest log tells me to continue the main story which I have already completed
