After the new update the UI doesn't disappear anymore whenever I use the photo mode which I'm really happy about but additionally all my pictures were also being uploaded as Xbox screenshots and that problem still persists. Is there a way to turn this off? I don't need that many screenshots on my console.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hello @PhilyG213,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

I'm glad that UI issue has been resolved for you 🙂

Regarding the storage, I can see that this is working as intended - photos are being saved on your console while capturing them - however, deleting them from your console will not delete them directly from our services! 🙂

@ubi-mark But before the update that broke the UI my pictures weren't getting saved as screenshots. Is that a new thing you introduced?

@philyg213 Apologies for the late response.

I have checked and apparently when using photo mode it has always saved an image to the consoles storage. It also does this for other games not just Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Unless there is an option in the consoles settings to disable this then the only option would be to manually delete the images from your consoles storage.
