    When I started the Mastery Challenge, I really didn’t understand how it worked and, quite frankly, I’m still not sure. In any event, I’m not a bit happy with the way I started and would like to restart the entire Challenge. Ubisoft, please, please, please give us the ability to restart whenever we want. I can think of no reason why it shouldn't be.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @fortyniners354 You should be able to restart whenever you want - there's a restart challenge option on the pause menu.

    @coastalgirl Ok, I'm probably stupid, but I can't find a challenge reset button. The only "pause" menu I know of is when you press esc. Under options>interface I see only "mastery challenge on/off." Is there another pause menu I should be looking at? In advance, thanks for the help.

    @fortyniners354 Oh, maybe it's different on PC? If I pause during a challenge, here's what I see:undefined

    @coastalgirl It's the same on PC after pressing Esc, only with different keys.

    @kormac67 Ahh, what I meant in my origina lpost was a complete from-scratch do-over of the entire challenge quest, not a repeat of a specific instance.

    @fortyniners354 Let me be clear about what I am asking, since some very nice people have misunderstood, I would like to see a complete from-scratch do-over of the entire challenge, maybe even having to fight the old gal again. My problem is that I would never have run Wenocan the way I did had I understood how this game worked. What happened is that the first goal was just to get three medals. I was curious about the three challenges, ran each one, got a bronze for each one and turned them in. Had I know better, I would have run a specific challenge over and over until I got a gold.

    @fortyniners354 Oh, yeah sorry I misunderstood. Do the medals affect the arc? I kind of blasted through the whole thing, mostly just accepting what I got. 😊

    Since finishing, though, I've done a lot of replays to try for more golds. That "Restart Trial" button and I know each other very, very well at this point... lol

    @coastalgirl You can replay them again. Just go to the statue and earn golds. After you turn in objectives you'll find that you need to improve or earn higher medals for your next goal. Earning gold does not affect the outcome of the story at all. You just have to meet the minimum medal requirements to proceed in the story. Getting all golds on console with earn you a trophy/achievement though.
