@ubi-borealis hi! It wasn’t fixed for me. In my case I completed first bleeding the leech then firing the arrow. When I had to start smashing the compass, the marker of the mission did not appear on the map. I don’t know if this bug is the same or not.

    thank you in advance

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hello there @Maciotti!

I've created a new thread from your post, as you're encountering a slightly different issue to the one in this thread. I'm sorry to hear you're encountering trouble when starting "Smashing the Compass." To help us to take a closer look at this, would you be able to send us a video which shows the following:

    • Your current quest log and active objective
    • Your completed quest log, showing that "Bleeding the Leech" and "Firing the Arrow" have been completed
    • Your map, showing that no quest marker is present to begin "Smashing the Compass"

We can then pass this along to the development team for further investigation.

    Thanks! 😊

@ubi-borealis Hello! Thank you for your reply and help.

I recorded the video. How can I send it to you?

Thanks for capturing a video, @Maciotti! The best way to share a video with us is to first upload it to a sharing platform (such as YouTube or Google Drive). You can then post a shareable link within this thread, and we can take a closer look.

    Thanks! 🙂

    @ubi-borealis Hi!
    Here's the link:

Please let me know if it's okay and if you need anything else!

I really appreciate that you're trying to fix this bug that it's preventing me from unlocking other quests on the alliance map (as you can see in the video). I want to finish the game 😢

Thank you again for your help!

Thank you for providing this clip with these details @maciotti. Do you happen to have a previous save you can test to see if the quest is also missing on there as well?

@ubi-mercury I don’t have a save that dates back before the mission “Smashing the Compass”.
The oldest save I have is from two months ago and yes it’s missing.
I encountered this bug in November and it was never fixed.

If we require any additional information from you, we will reach out within this thread.

In the meantime, please keep an eye out for future updates within the News & Announcements forum.
