

@t-h-u-d-d I'm not crashing too, but I'm getting freezes too since yesterday, i don't know why and it's rly annoying
Having the same problem, game was running fine until yesterday morning. Now it freezes every 10 to 15 minutes and can only be closed with the task manager.

The game behaves the same as before when DX12 is turned on (freezes), even if it is on DX11. I tried to force a new installation of DX (the game launcher then installs directx 1/6 since the game has not crashed for an hour before it froze, what was the end of the game and the task manager for ten minutes. Try and let me know if it also helped you.
So nothing helped and unfortunately the game froze again… not after 10 - 15 minutes, but after more than an hour… I have not experienced such an unstable game… one must be an alchemist and a computer guru to play Division 2 .- (What did you do with it? - it worked fine for several months ..
Having a similar issue as the above people. Game would freeze and go into windowed mode. I did recently upgrade my SSD, but new drive is cloned from previous. Was running fine for the last few days. Working through the troubleshooting steps mentioned above as well.
in the end, the combination of DX 11 with NV466.27 with running as a manager took almost two hours .. so we'll see ..
There was a windows update recently. I wonder if this is causing our issues. For myself, I installed the KB5005565 and Servicing Stack 10.0.19041.1220 windows updates on the 16th, which is right about the time I started having freezes in this game. I'm going to try to uninstall them and see if it makes a difference. If it does, I will reinstall them one at a time and see if the issue returns.
@fs_slacker I verified the files and tried to specify for "EACLaunch", "TheDivision2", "thedivision2launcher" to run as administrator. This reinstalled DirectX and was doing some spinning busy activity for a while (re-verifying the files). I went back and just made "TheDivision2" run as admin - and was able to play with no issues. No clue what the issue was.
@t-h-u-d-d Same exact situation here. I hung up 5 times in 80 minutes before giving up and not been back since.... My friend has had the problem twice earlier in the day.
I uninstalled the KB5005565 update, but left the Servicing Stack installed. I have been playing for a few hours without any issue. I don't know if I can say that the Windows update is the issue since my freezes were random, but I haven't had a freeze today. I will eventually reinstall the update, and if it freezes, I can comfortably say that the Windows update is the culprit.

Yeah. The chronic CTD issue is back with a vengeance, consequent to the latest Windows update.
