Since the update earlier today experiencing game freezes more consistently. Instead up non responsive in the task manager, it instead say 'Suspended' as the status of the game program. Has frozen at least 5-6 times just today.

@jonnythefrank yup, exactly the same here for me "suspended" not unresponsive.

Did you guys read my last post? It worked in reinstating the same stability as prior to the latest Windows update.

@spla5hdmg No. Install. Feature Update version 21H1 requires manual installation beyond the Windows update that we all received automatically.

Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > directly below the "Check for updates" button, you should see the option to install "Feature Update version 21H1". Do so.

That should completely eliminate the chronically recurring hangs that began after the Windows update dropped, before the game patch (2.8GB) was even available.

@v4mpir1 Not for me, I have it installed and I still get these freezes and have to force quit in task manager. Using DX12 mode.

I am wondering whether Windows 11 will make the games stability better. Be interesting to find out, hopefully my PC is one that will be granted the upgrade in October

@v4mpir1 This was also already installed on my system and a fellow player's systems that I game with daily - it made zero difference. The game still randomly freezes and appears as "suspended" in the task manager. Previous to the update and the Golden Bullet Event the game would simply CTD, so this is a new problem based on the 2.83GB game update on Tuesday and the activation of the Golden Bullet Event on PC.

sadly i have the same issues like others. Since Golden Bullet Update, my Game freezes and crashs to desktop after 10-15min. I already did all the normal troubleshootings and also the tips i got here, but still cant play without crashing. I never had realy problems with the game since now. I hope the Devs will look after the problems so we can enjoy the game.

@jack_mama Same here. I tried all the usual fixes, drivers, clear %temp, revalidate files. Still get to play for about 5-10 minutes, game freezes and will either CTD on its own or I have to kill it in Task Manager. Guess I'll ditch this game for a while until Ubisoft figures out what is wrong. This happens every patch and is getting really annoying.

I missed out on a few seasons because of crashes. It looks like I may not be able to finish this season either. Game screen capture freezes with no report(s) even task manager does not work.

@battlemaster23 @spla5hdmg @rage_therapy Interesting. I would agree with you, then, that what you guys are experiencing is a separate problem, requiring a separate remedy. Splash, in that case, I wouldn't recommend uninstalling Feature Update version 21H1. It may make your game even more unstable and prone to the hangs that the Windows update caused on my and a number of my clanmates' systems, in addition to those that you're currently experiencing.

Here's something else you guys can try that worked for yet another clanmate that had issues:

turn off my anti virus firewall and manually give permision on windows firewall to ubisoft and anticheat program. Restart the machine. It worked.

@v4mpir1 I appreciate your efforts here, but no luck. In-game freeze "suspended" task manager error still present. I'm going to try turning off the Golden Bullet Event to see if that does anything.
