I would be thrilled if they added nothing and instead fixed the year(s) long problems with hanging/crashing and matchmaking. Those are the only things that frustrate me enough to make me play other games.
@merphee Netcode rewritten to resolve the frequent freezing. No amount of eye candy, creative game play, "new" game modes will matter without this issue addressed and fixed.
Create a story-driven reason to turn the entirety of the WoNY expansion into a giant DZ. That, or re-skin the TD1 DZ and make accessible. Either way, it's got room for 24-36 players. And then let chaos ensue. With that, the PvP-averse can have their rotation in of a PvE-only DZ in DC (which is basically just mini-CPs in a confined area).
And as ways, put Perfect Ranger on a G36E.
@imagine_brata
well, that is easily done. Throw away your optimized build, equip purple gear pieces and put the map on heroic with directives. Then you have super legendary everywhere.
Well, I am struggling with the one wish . On one hand I would like to see a map extension, ideally with the great atmosphere of TD1. On the other hand I wished they would make better use of existing maps, using the raid maps, conflict maps, DZ maps and Kenly college for normal PvE stuff, using contaminated areas/buildings and the multiple locations only partially used in campaign in endgame activities, use of the multiple tunnels, turning the great but absolute linear mission maps into open maps by getting the strict linearity out to make use of the opened mission maps for different tasks, like side missions/projects, introducing realistic and logical tasks/projects, eg finding certain persons in open world (like in TD1 during world Tür), protect important persons, support a delivery convoy, small realistic riddles where you have to search in the open world … there are multiple realistic and simple tasks possible.
@badkarmacreepin not technically possible, because the PS4/XBOne can't handle the Snowdrop updates they made for TD2 and allow for that large of a DZ.
The smaller DZ was a hardware limitation, not a design choice.
