cmon ubi you supposed to be keeping us interested so we spend money in the shop and on DLC, but right now the game is way too easy. Ive got a silenced shotgun, assassin boots and im just super fast crouching round camps, bases etc silently taking out the dumb enemy. The A.I is awful btw, is that why they respawn so quick so it feels like some kind of challenge? Everything dies so quick that they cant get to alarms or do their 'special' abilities, and it doesnt matter what armour they are wearing.
I was relishing the fact ubi tried mixing it up with the enemy, ammo types, new way to get perks etc and its nice they tried something new. but unless they make the game a bit tougher, and rebalance the game this experiment was a total waste.
I shouldn't be running (well crouching) around bases wiping everything out this early in the game, this should be late game perks not 15 hours in and your already a bad-[censored].
Everyone has an opinion and mine is the polar opposite. All the points you raised for not liking it, is some of the reasons that I love this game.
Loading times?? there's hardly any loading screens, and when there is they are over and finished in no time. Are you fast travelling your way around the map?? console or older PC??
I love the combat, its nasty and visceral and the abilities add a real shine to it. Plus Im playing on the hardest setting plus the 'no guaranteed assassinations' and that again adds to the experience.
The settlement building gives you a reason to explore the map, take camps/towns/churches etc for them precious resources. Yea its not exactly like NMS level of base building, but for me it serves it purpose. And the extra content you get from adding to your settlement is great. Like the fishing/hunting jobs etc etc.
For me bringing down a zealot is challenge enough, I don't need a shiny new cod-piece as a reward. I think Im level 135 and so far Ive killed two. they are a brutal challenge, and one I really have to prepare for before taking em on.
Too me it feels more like an assassins creed game then odyssey and origins (I did enjoy both of them as well)
Plus the world is friggin beautiful, with lots to discover. For me this new system for side quests is a massive step up from any assassin creed game, it feels a lot more organic and you are always rewarded for exploring and taking your time.
Was really looking forward to finally have a horse in a fry cry game. Wander around on a beautiful map chilling out taking in the scenery.
Instead we got a horse that's always rushing about, crashing into things and just not the chill out trot around the map I was hoping for.
Just a key to toggle between sprint/run/walk would be lovely.
@sparhawk122 wow! spot on mate!!!
No the writers have a box checking sheet to go through, which is more about 'equality' rather than reality.....
the 'woke' west in a nutshell
Haven't visited the forums for over a month, was expecting this crap to be fixed so I could play over the Xmas break.
But you're still in the same spot you was a month ago. Still expecting your customers to do your bug reports, what happened did ubi sack the 2 QA testers you had after the game released and now your 'customers' are expected to do their job with zero feedback from all the videos they have sent.
It's disgusting, obviously your fans love your games and send you bug reports, videos etc etc yet you just basically spit on em.
13 years I been a customer of yours, not anymore. Never paying full price for one of your games again. That's if I even pay for it.
Ubi your a joke!
Has this been discussed yet?? cause right now nights are just like a slightly cloudy day. Would be nice to have to use the torch other than the occasional bit of dungeon digging.
and the first thing im downloading is this beautiful FOV fix

@dv20katana Im old enough to have played soldier of fortune from 2000-2002, this game had gore down to a fine art (maybe a bit over the top) but man it was fun. But that game is kinda my benchmark, and would love to see some kinda dismemberment in far cry. Im shooting dudes in FC6 with a minigun, they should be getting ripped to shreds but they just fall over. Your right its an air-soft simulator.
Heres how ya do gore, the game definitely gives ya more impact then a LOT of these 'next gen' games.....
Whatever I say you and by the looks of things many more will disagree. Im not after a looter/shooter, I dont want to have to keep changing my gear cause I just picked up a new sword/outfit with slightly better crit. In fact Im still using the same 2 handed axe and bow I started the game with, and I enjoy not having to constantly change your gear, you can explore the map for resources to upgrade it. Gear is not handed to you anymore, you have to work for it.
Why are players so shocked with the greed?? this is ubisoft. Just ignore the shop and move on, theres plenty of content in the game to be getting on with. But Im not into the whole restore health with fire,or less fall damage crap, for me thats just silly. Im a viking not a wizard.
Shocked the game isnt working out the box??? this has been the state of most AAA games for ages. I usually wait a year to play the latest creed game, but im early this year because of the new industry standard of broken games which is cyberpunk. Ive had the odd bug in Valhalla, but nothing like the broken mess that 2077 is.
it just seems some players bought this thinking it was gonna be a cut/paste from odyssey. Thats your problem not ubisofts.
Yea syndicate is a good un, and Ive played AC games since the first one(old git here). Has some nice additions like the grappling hook for getting around. And stealing a horse drawn carriage and going on a rampage never gets old.
Really I think ya should play em all, they are not loadsa money anymore and theres plenty of fun to be had in all the AC games. Yea the controls are not as fluid as they are now, but ya soon get the hang of it and get on with enjoying the story and the world.

@tcarlisle2012 the question implies they have tried that and it wasn't enough(surely thats the first thing you look at). the game settings get nowhere near what the mod is capable of. Unless Im missing something...
when I was playing and riding a horse it always felt like I was sitting on the horses neck and of course i had max FOV
@sickmick85 there is a mod if you PC

@dawu11 yea Im having difficulty seeing how this was missed before release. Making me think that some bright spark at UBI thought this was a cool new 'feature'......
And then asking for help too find whats going on. A small dev team I can understand and I would happily help ( like everspace 2) but the multi-millions UBI have and they cant even be [censored] to look at the hundreds of posts and videos about this is just crazy.
Back too waiting for a few months before buying any new game from a 'AAA' dev again.
@ubi-borealis
you gonna start taking some money of the game seeing as you want us beta testing??
This shouldnt have been in the game at release, and now you want us to track the bugs and report em......
How was the game released in this state? where was the testing before release??
@guydodge I dunno bout 'very good' thats pretty high praise for what i witnessed
I had no threat level detector, didnt see the point cause there is no threat. X-hairs were off. If I could have had no enemy markings and keep the minimap I would have. But Im a bit of a collect-o-maniac and love hunting for gear, which tbh was the only fun I got out of the game.
I see the nexus started getting FC6 mods, so uninstalled a week ago and gonna wait too see if our fine modding community can do something with this game.
Right now its basically a walking simulator.
Not unusual for 'AAA' game devs to release such a mess these days it seems to be the norm, rush then game out then leave em hanging for updates, DLC and NG+. And why only 2 of the sorties come with the game? is it to drip feed content and hope us mugs stick around spending money in the shop till they all drop?
Just wish I learnt my lesson from buying cyberpunk and held off buying FC6
Luckily its been a really good year for 'AA' developers, especially on PC.
speaking of 'AA' games, whack 'Selaco' on your radar if you love a good ol shooter.
