

I want to understand something because is really important.
Let me remove for you the lie that you have been feed:
In base of a 1% increase, you can calculate the base of that item.
The experiment went like this: 6 eclipse pieces that are all upgraded at 1% resulting in 6% more armor according to the info that they provide after you have applied 1 expertise upgrade.
YOU ARE [censored] WRONG because I added each piece individually and noted the armor.
Base items values :
After applying the 1% Expertise on all items the items will give the following to you:
You end up in the end with the sum of these 6 pieces that each has 1%, meaning: 7263 more armor.
Guess what: 7263 is exactly 1% from the base armor (726015).
SO..ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE ALL 6 PIECES TO LEVEL 1, ONLY THEN you will get 1% more armor.
THIS MEANS THAT A LEVEL 20 EXPERTISE will give you only 20% MORE ARMOR...and ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE ALL THE PIECES AT 20.
In the end, you are running like a [censored] idiot just to get a [censored] 20% more armor after a couple of years of farming and upgrading.
As i said before: this is a pointless system...a spit in the face on the entire Division community.
And in case you still did not get it:
If you only add an item with 1% more armor, you will only get a 1% divided by 6 pieces...and even that will be in the base of the item that you add it (Mask, Gloves, Chest piece, Backpack, Holster, Kneepads: since they have different numbers).
I could not understand why the other players were running away from the healing cloud an we had to investigate.
It turned out that the owners can see the green circle when the Reinforcer is deployed but the rest of the players can only see a faint short animation of the green rising and that's it.
This is affecting the gameplay so bad because no one can see the healing cloud, the radious or when is on or off.
We can see the green from hive and healing seeker and the purple from artificer or Oxidiser...but no green from REINFORFER CHEM LAUNCHER!
We were chatting during a Summit Legendary play, while we were searching for a vest, about the expertise system and how the reward does not match the Grind level (as i said also in the PTS).
How expensive it is and how people are not interested in it because it is not doable. We were also talking about that, if it is a grind...at least make it fun (so you will not feel that it is a grind) and the most important part: make the reword to match that grind.
(the dev's did not took in consideration that you can have the same build with variation for specific parts making the expertise a [censored] system...but..)
And then we came up with this: Exotic components in Summit Crate (after you get the key).
How is this working?
For every directive that you add you will have an exotic component guaranteed when you open the crate every 3 floors.
This will happen only on Legendary mode.
So...if you play with 10 directives, at the end of 3 floors, you will have 10 GUARANTEED exotic components.
Why I am keep saying Guaranteed? - the reward must match that grind.
In this way you will want to finish those 3 floors.
You will also push the players for something new.
It will not be easy and it will not be hard.
It will be for everyone since there are 10 directives and it will be up to you how many you will choose.
Summit was designed for farming, so why not add the exotic components there ?
At the end of 10 floors you will end up with 40 exotic components if you choose to play with 10 directives.
This translate in almost 1 weapon to level 20 (level 18 to be exact since you need 55 to reach level 20 and in this way you do not need to change anything in the expertise system).
This type of farming I will be more than glad to do it.
I will play the game and the reward will make me feel that it worth all the trouble.
In this way you know that you can upgrade all that gear/weapons that has different variations on because you know that IS DOABLE.
Also, the boss floor must be fixed : once you killed all the enemies and you choose to kill yourself just to repeat the floor, you respawn in the elevator at the next floor.

Catharsis green cloud can be seen by the owners but not by other players (just like the Reinforcer chem launcher).
All that it can be seen is just a short animation and sometimes a fainth dens green blob without any border radius making it useless for everybody else than the owner.

Although the map is nice and well crafted (as a first impression) after reaching the first objective my first reaction came:
I play it the first time, forced myself to play it the second time and that's it. I will not go back there just as i did not go back to Kenly college anymore.
I played a regular mission with Directive and other 3 players and was moreeeee satisfying that the countdown.
Suggestions:
Stop it. Do not invest anymore time in it. We will not play it. And if you force us the extract something that will be available only at that place, that's it: No return after all forced implemented material is out...not even for a different variant that must be upgraded with the new stupid and pointless, smoke in the eye called Expertise.

Somebody else beat me to it but this is nice because is true. The feeling is there and is one of pure "meaningless".
As i said in his topic, the game , how it is right now, it does not need new numbers.
With the build that i have i can play and enjoy a 10 Directive legendary summit , i can play solo Legendary missions with 4 Directives and finish them (just search on Youtube 10 directives summit legendary build).
This means that i do not need the extra armour numbers, the extra damage numbers to weapon or skills.
I will not embrace this upgrade system because there is no need to it. THERE IS NO ENDING POINT to it.
I can play the game how it is right now. I do not want to take down the enemy with only 2 shots after this meaningful upgrade while the old one was killing him with 3.
We all know the true that this system is just there to make the player stay in the game.
But here is the ugly truth:

As long as you do not add the WHY, the meaning to this, the path will be over.
We need VARIATIONS and not pointless numbers or unnecessary new builds.
This will mess up the game so bad in such a good way that will make anyone to have the Expertise level maxed out since that will be the only way to unlock the future of this game.
Just imagine the possibilities: Double Talent builds. Bulwark + Future initiative that can be taken out by a ... a... come one: BE Creative ! Do you think that The Eclipse + Ongoing Directives will take that one out?
And then you add new gear with each season that will need to be Maxed out so that you will be able to use it in the double build and create new variation.
And the new Proficient Legendary mode that will have an enemy that is so bad [censored] that even a double build will be like : What !?
And this is my honest review: all this is pointless and meaningless. It does not have the why or the future. Just like Warfare: a game that is bringing content regularly, i drop it after 1 month because the new content was/is for the same banana in a different skin...POINTLESS!
@n3mb0t Yes, 120% armour it is meaningfull and let me tell you why.
As it is right now the game, i can play Legendary summit with 10 directives and win and have fun because it is a little challenging. (just search on youtube 10 directives Summit build so that you can nerf that one)
This means that i do not need the 120% armour, i do not need the 10% or whatever weapon or skill amplification.
If i can take the enemy with 3 shots (as an example), there is no point or any satisfaction on taking him with just 2 shots.
Once you maxed out everything and everyone has maxed out everything, is the same maximum that it is today.
This means that the upgrades numbers are just numbers.
We already reached the max. We do not need a new MAX something.
WE NEED VARIATIONS and not pointless numbers.
We are here not to criticize but to point an obvious line: we will drop the game because there is no point...there is nothing meaningful to these numbers.
@Noxious81 Until you will go in DZ and a super Level player (in those years that you have not upgrade anything) will just run near you and you will drop dead.
The point is that every other game, the longer you play with that item/s, you will gain experience towards upgrade that/those items.
This game is forcing you to grind and this is just a bull_shit straight idiocy.
You must have balance.
Is: the longer you play and not the longer you grind.
Nobody said that must be easy...but if you force me in 1 direction, give us the faster alternative (because even that one is a grind)
We decided to finish Iron horse on the next day just to see that the checkpoint was not available anymore. The same thing happen with Dark Hour.
Then we test it. We finished the first boss in Iron Horse, we exit the raid. The same player created the raid, we all joined and to our surprise, there was no checkpoint available.
So, is this a new thing ? A new change ? Or adding the bulwark and future initiative to the open world broke the raids?

It seems that Adrenaline Rush is not getting armour anymore on minitanks since the NERF of heartbreaker gearset. Is working on everything else except the minitanks.

The one that is using the chem launcher can see the green circle. You can see your own green circle.

@chacachaca13 It reminded me about some old Xiao Xiao video animations with a cowboy trying to shoot a bird with the pistol. He ended up hitting it with a rock.
@xcel30 to be honest, i never thought of this because i never thought of taking advantage of something like this.
But, yet again, you already can do this (and their punch will destroy your shield). The problem is when they are in the range and decide to go and punch you since their weapon is crap, knowing that they will hit harder with that punch. So...it does not seem to be a defence mechanism.
@hralex1951 it must be. I better keep the Punch enemy at a distance.

@fs_slacker no no...the sum of the grenade (1 enemy) + Assault (2nd enemy) = 1,905,809. So no. That's why i decided to post this. Because this time i bothered to look to see the actual damage. And this punch is nothing compared to those that are hitting my deflector shield.
