After DoR launched, the Complete Edition got marked on the store as included with Ubisoft+
Subscribed, played through, unsubscribed
Ubisoft+ is the best thing Ubisoft has done in a very long time

@ubi-spacecats Thanks for the response
I just switched the non-unicode region temporarily to English until I finished the Dawn of Ragnarok campaign so that it would keep my English setting
(And sure enough it did)
I'll see if I can send in a message on Twitter anyway but not important now
For some reason, AC Valhalla (Ubisoft+ version) starts in Japanese, even though in Ubisoft Connect the language setting is English
Each time I start the game, I have to change the interface language and subtitle language to English
But next time it forgets and reverts to Japanese
I suspect this is reading my PC's "non-unicode locale" setting, but I always had that setting on Japan, and AC Valhalla did not exhibit this issue the last time I played, which was back when Siege of Paris launched.
@mikez19999 Alright thanks
I had no idea about that part either, as I unsubbed last year after finishing the season passes for both AC Valhalla and WD Legion
Just wanted to confirm this before resubbing
@zzcool500 The DLC is unlocked already?
@zzcool500 Yes, that's what the original news post says
But if you go to the store, the Deluxe Edition of AC Valhalla and the Season Pass clearly indicate that they are available as part of Ubisoft+
However neither the Ragnarok Edition of AC Valhalla nor the Dawn of Ragnarok DLC itself contain this indicator
This is why I want to see if someone has any real information about this apparent contradiction
Official information on this is not quite forthcoming outside of the initial news post ( https://news.ubisoft.com/en-us/article/3W3oPqRCHGgB8MlMG4o6cW/assassins-creed-valhalla-unveils-dawn-of-ragnark-expansion-and-free-crossover-stories ) where they said "Dawn of Ragnarök will launch on March 10, 2022, and will be available as a separate purchase for owners of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna (and will also be included with a Ubisoft+ subscription)"
But if I go to the Ubisoft store, it looks like only the Deluxe Edition of the game is included in Ubisoft+, and not the Ragnarok Edition. Deluxe of course does not contain Dawn of Ragnarok, as that is outside the season pass
So, this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone have any solid information on this?
Update: Contacted support, and either they did something, or it fixed itself, but whatever it is, it's working now.
Is the Season Pass not meant to be part of the Ubisoft+ subscription for this game? Most sources including https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/watch-dogs-legion/article/content-of-watch-dogs-legion-editions/000062208 seem to suggest that it is, as part of the Ultimate Edition. Ubisoft Connect lists it among installed DLC as well. However, I am unable to access any of its content in game. And heading to the store in-game shows that only Bloodline is listed as available with Ubisoft+, and not the Season Pass.
This is pretty confusing. Would be grateful if at least someone else using Ubisoft+ could let me know their experience in this regard.
@ubi-swaggins Eventually got past it after multiple attempts. Felt like a matter of luck. I'm certain if I were to try a new playthrough, this would happen once again. The bug is definitely not resolved on the current version of the game.
EDIT: Looking at recordings of this on YouTube, it seems Jackson is supposed to say something at the end, before Aiden contacts Wrench. But this also does not work in my case. Even in the attempt that worked and the door opened, Jackson did not speak at all.
