Looking for insights, not just complaining...

I typically stay away from posting negative posts, because I appreciate the work that goes into making these games.

Just started Valhalla about 20 hours ago, and I'm lost. In all AC games, I felt like the story was clear, the quests were there for the taking, and progress as you see fit.

In Valhalla, it seems like the game tried to do too much, and lost the story a bit.

Outside of me starting a new settlement because the King's son was upset that he's not the next in line, I don't really know what else I'm doing all this for.

Am I missing something? Will something in the story come up as I progress? (Please no spoilers)

The "Why" was clear in other games, and in this one, the "why" just isn't there for me yet.

@tcarlisle2012 So true! Had same issue as well. Nothing was happening so I just turned off the game. When I started it back up, it showed a video clip... assuming that bug was holding me back.

@ubi-oxavo after playing some more, I think it's less about a bug, more about a lack of clarity. For example, I've raised well over 5 Monasteries for the achievement, however it is showing only 2.

Looks like it only counts completions while in a quest chain, versus completing as a one off on my own.

Searched forums but was unable to find exactly what I'm looking for...

The Ubisoft Connect Challenges aren't tracking properly. Looks like a known issue, but I also noticed a "refresh" icon next to my PS4 icon.

Is there a 24-48 hour delay in it updating?
What does the logo mean?
Anything I can do to push an update through quicker?

Had the same issue, thanks to this thread, saw that you need to complete the first couple of quests first.

Would suggest not allowing people not to purchase until complete, or note this on the map/purchase screen to prevent people from spending time researching this "glitch". Will also close my ticket out.
