First I had the Sons of Ragnar Ubba bug. Spent my time exploring and clearing the map. Now I have this bug. I thought it odd when Hytham gave away spoilers early, but I wasn't aware of this issue. I thought it was poor continuity.
After over a month of not be able to progress I am stuck again.
I was really hoping this patch fixed it, but no. I have everything except the last clue. Well everything, but the last clue and the coastal fish.
Stupid fishing. Fix that too please

I just transferred my games from xbox one x to an xbox series x and discovered that my quiver is now level 5 which is in line with the my having the quiver glitch and stuck at 20 arrows. Unfortunately I can not longer upgrade my quiver as I cannot find fabrics. Any fix?

I had the same problem where I lost the ale and the quest-marker was showing up in eastern Sciropescire near a cursed totem. I reloaded a save game where I hadn’t found the ale yet. This fixed the lost ale problem. However, I still had the the quest-marker issue. This was an easy fix. I followed the quest-giver and found that he traveled down a road to a small boat to the southwest of Utbech (between the Nene River and Great Ouse Rivers). Once you retrieve the ale walk southwest until you hit a road and follow that road down (south) to its end and you should see the boat and quest-giver. This should update the quest-marker. I was then able to place the ale on his boat to finish this quest. Hope this helped!

Utbech in Grantebridgescire. In the marshes.

So cask respawns but the quest marker remains in Sciropescire. Returning the cask to Ravensthorpe doesn't trigger anything. I quit AC and started it again. Same thing

The cask location is originally in Grantebridgescire in the marshes. Utbech iirc

So I recovered the cask and saw I had to carry it 3000+ meters. I decided to see if I could fast travel. I could, but when I arrived it was without the cask. Checking the map the cask is now marked on Sciropescire and it is about 250 meters below me. I cannot recover it to complete the quest.

Will the quest reset or am I out of luck?

Quick update.
Ignore the quest marker and go back to the original location. Cask respawns.

Thank goodness! It worked. Took a couple times restarting but it finally worked
