Unable to use Barracks, Stables or Shipyard in Ravensthorpe. Started Blood from a stone mission at the stables to ride with Fulke, and decided to save the game and quit for the night. Now the mission has vanished, cannot get it to restart so can't progress with the game. Have tried pledging a new alliance and going back to Oxenefordshire, we have gone to every location of future missions in Oxenefordshire to see if that worked, we have deleted the cache on our machine, and have uninstalled and reinstalled the game none of which have worked. On the list of completed missions, there is a blank box after "Pilgrimage to St Albans" which says completed. Have done a lot of side missions and quests, and currently on around 50 hours of play, and not willing to restart a whole new game. Can we not just get a patch that allows to even restart a county alliance from scratch if you can't do individual quests???
Looking through the forums there seems to be so many other people having similar problems in Ravensthorpe, and similar problems with so many other quests. Why not just offer the option to restart quests like you have done in previous versions, as surely this would be the most practical solution to the game, and you obviously have the code from previous games?
If I knew that there were going to be so many issues with this game, I wouldn't have bothered even buying it, let alone spending so much of my time playing it that unless you fix it, has been wasted. As a suggestion, rather than throwing out new titles every year and boasting that you have 1000 people working on each game, you need to spend a bit more time getting games fit for sale before releasing them.
Do not go the way of Atari and EA with their respective Rollercoaster Tycoon and SimCity titles, as if history there proves anything, there are other developers out there that will bring out titles that fans actually want to play and that are playable!
@ubi-litten Hi there,
Thank you for getting back in touch. I've gone in to have a look and can't see the empty boxes anymore. When we looked previously it was during a festival, so not sure if it was maybe missions relating to that.
Andrew
@ubi-keo Hello there, sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Initially the cut scene played and the characters got on the horses and started riding. The game had autosaved already, and it was getting too late to carry on a new mission so after the save, quit to main menu and turned the machine off. When going back onto the game, it was like the videos show as if there is no mission there. The quest is no longer on the map. We have followed youTube videos showing the route taken, and followed them exactly in case we picked up the mission at a later point, but there is nothing. We have explored the entire castle, and the man on the floor doesn't have anything on him to collect.
On the quest log, the previous quest 'Pilgrimage to St Albans' is showing as completed, and underneath that there is a blank box as if this mission should be there.
There were no crashes, and the game had definitely finished saving as the logo in the corner had disappeared a few minutes before deciding to stop playing.
@ajuk1981 Also, if being able to start individual missions is too hard to do, how about the ability to restart a county from the beginning?
I'm sure there are many players who are in the same position as us whereby they have continued with other counties, missions whilst waiting for a resolution to their problem, and as such have completed way more of the game than justifies restarting from the beginning, or going back to save game from before the problem mission.
I have posted about this back in December, and had some communication from Ubisoft. However, there has still not been any form of resolution to this issue, other than to suggest starting the game right from the beginning, or from a previous save.
I have made a YouTube vide which shows this issue here
Unable to start quest. All characters just stood outside the stables and can’t interact with them.
Have tried, pledging to another county and pledging again, have cleared cache and uninstalled/reinstalled game. Please fix, as can’t progress with the game anymore.

@damoy2j Same thing happening. Tried changing pledge and going back to quest, restarting game, remove cache of Xbox but nothing working.
