Not even an acknowledgement about the crashes that plague this game much less an apology for wasting our time and money. I doubt they'll refund people. I feel sorry for those people who put their trust on Ubisoft by subscribing to their Ubi+ thing. I feel sorry to the people who pre-ordered believing they'll receive a product that at least passed quality assurance. At this point, they owe players for their time. But you know the thing that they are able to release in a timely manner? Microtransactions. It felt amazing when I was waiting for a patch for weeks because I just cannot play the game that I paid for and then seeing the new skins in the e-store. It felt amazing when the new patch comes in because I just might be able to play for an hour this time and then trying to play for 15 minutes then you're done for the month again. I'm guessing January is the next patch?
I'd consider you lucky. After patch 1.04 I simply crash 3-4 times per session then I just simply stop playing. I've tried everything. A billion verify the files, delete caches, update drivers, downgrade drivers to 44x.xx, sacrificed a virgin (myself), everything. Same timeframe for crashes. Sometimes with the "send error report", sometimes without. I'm tired. This game beat me to submission. gg ubisoft.
@yazx_ Great post. Lots of detail and testing involved. I myself have tried 44x.xx versions and the oldest I could find on Nvidia's site. I still crashed like I normally do post-patch 1.04.
What's your GPU? Mine is 1660 Super. I'll try 452.06 right now and come back with my findings.
@yazx_ I've done steps 1-3.
Uniengine Heaven didn't have DX12 for me. Only up to DX11. I instead downloaded the "Superposition" one. It's unspecified which DX it was running but I ran it and it didn't last 2 hours. Maybe 15 minutes but it came out without errors.
@YazX_ I'm not sure if my ram is actually 1066 MHz but CPU-Z says so.
@yazx_ Hey thanks for your suggestion. I followed as you instructed. Took me 1.5 hours and it came out 100% fine. No errors whatsoever. I gotta say Ubi gotta hire you for support.
i5 10400f 2.90 Hz
1660 Super
8 GB ram dual channel (1066 MHz)
2TB SSHD
no OC's whatsoever.
I know it's not the best but it plays Origins and Odyssey great.
@yazx_ All I got was D3DRED2 and LiveKernelEvent. I don't know which data to look for but those were the errors during the time of crash.
@yazx_ Yep I can confirm that mine still crashes. Although this time, it has a "send crash error report" which only happens to me sometimes. It's mostly CTD in my case.

@like-a-toasty It's not a new bug. I don't know if it's intentional or not but that happens if they are your mission objective. Otherwise they get tagged normally. There are missions where you are tasked to assassinate ambushers which make them very hard to see under the bushes.

@furmano81 Same. Been posting here since it started happening post-patch 1.04. Prepare to be ignored though. There is nothing else to fix on our end.
