I'm not sure where is best to post this. It's not the same "Binding Fate" bug discussed above, possibly a new one.
At the end of my initial conversation with Tyr, he ends with "...an apt name for his current fate..." and walks away. Eivor starts to accompany him, then snaps back to his original position and cannot be moved; Tyr then comes back and sits down again. After that, nothing works except the "ESC" key, which allowed me at least to exit and restart. That didn't help: I got exactly the same outcome the second time.
Is this a new bug?
I can't believe you did this LONG update without asking user permission, thereby consuming most of my playing hours for the day, and without fixing the HORRIBLE SLOW TITLE SCREENS which still take more than two minutes to show me the same DAMNED USELESS INFORMATION that I've seen in each of the last three games but without the option of hurrying things along. Are you trying to drive your customer base away?
I was disappointed to note that the new patch didn't fix the dialog bug. I have decent equipment and hearing, but my choice is being deafened by Eivor or straining to hear the other speakers. I suspect somebody used an "r-squared" model for this function, but I don't think that's how hearing works in RW and it's certainly not realistic in this game (as opposed to in Odyssey and in Origins).
I previously reported a severe start-up delay due to inability to "hit any key" to fast forward through all the boilerplate in the loading screens, but I can't find that post this morning so I'll take the liberty of reiterating: it takes two-and-a-half minutes to go from desktop to playable in this game every time I start it with my relatively capable PC. This is much longer than in any game I've played in the past five years... which is a lot of games!
Otherwise, the series is very diverting and I especially enjoyed the relatively adult interaction with Randvi.
Startup time for the game after update is 2 minutes 30 seconds. This is a disappointment.

I suggest you modify the algorithm that adjusts the volume of voices according to distance. To my ear, a ten-foot distance sounds like ten yards instead. (That's a three-fold increased distance, for those who aren't fluent in American measuring). My suggestion is that you don't attenuate minimally distant voices so much.
