Hi all, i just watched a video by Coreross detailing Thorn's gadget.
Just a random thought, but how about if Blitz gained a primary weapon? Say the mp7?
With the mp7 equiped the shield is on his back ( so unable to flash players ) and movement is increased.
When the flash shield is on his back it's turned off, this way Solis unable to detect him.
Switching to his secondary weapon Blitz switches to his pistol and the flash shield turned on.
Ta
Hi all, random thought on the way home.
What if some attackers had the option to select two extra drones as a secondary gadget.
These drones only have a limited use unlike regular drones. Say 20sec before they instant self destruct similar to Flores. Exiting the drone earlier will also activate the instant self destruct.
When they self destruct they do a tiny explosion similar to Khalis' lance but much smaller.
Kinda like a drone version of the gone-6.
Gives an extra option for utility clear and intel gathering at the same time without " replacing" Khali or Flores.
Cheers for reading.
Hi all, was wondering if others would like to see a weapon charm added into siege for celebrating us Neurodivergant people. Eg ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, BPD, Bi-polar.
The accepted symbol is a rainbow infinity loop " ∞ ".
As someone who plays siege and is neurodivergant ( ADHD, ASD and Dysgraphia) I'd love to have a weapon charm to show off and support others like me in siege.
Thanks
The impact emps don't seem to have made much of an impact it would seem to Thatchers ban rate so far from what ive seen in game.
To help out Thatcher we really need to have someone " worthy of being banned as much " like add in an operator with something along the lines of my " shock proof mat " idea. This way we will have to choose which one we don't want to go up against knowing the other will still be in play. The point of him needing a competitor is simple. Imagine for a second that Thermite was the only really good hard breacher, all others were easily countered or just weren't as effective, he'd be banned all the time. This is the situation we're in with Thatcher, no one is as good as him for clearing/disabling utility, others can do it but they're easily countered or not as effective. The reality is Thermite has other viable options to choose from, Thatcher doesn't and this is why he's banned so much.
The mat is placed on a wall/hatch protecting a hardbreach gadget from being shocked, but Mute is still a counter to the mats. The mats " withstand " the shock damage for only a short period, 30% less with each additional Battery/electro claw. Eg one source of shock damage a mat will last 15 seconds, two 10 sec, three 7 sec and so on.. The mats are also bulletproof and can be placed over rotate holes ( like Azami ) or cover the bottom half of a doorway/window like a stumpy vault-able castle barricade, might combo well with claymores... So they can do Thatchers job of helping the team get through reinforced walls, granted not as well nor do they bring the same amount of utility clearing. But they do have the potential to block rotates, slow down roamers returning to site, waste defender utility and help make site more secure once the attacking team has taken hold.
If you like it you're more than welcome to use it
One thing that could also be done for Khali's sake is adjust the lance to only detonate on the far side, this will remove the biggest drawback from her gadget.
Hi all, rework concept for Sens. The gadget can still roll/thrown like it currently can, but you can change the timer ( like Ying) to 6, 4 or 2 seconds deploy time. The gadget travels for the set amount of time and deploys the walls which look the same as they do currently. The walls ( 0.8m each individual projection ) shoot off in 5 directions and are all 2.4m long ( so 3 projections per wall ) to provide decent coverage. This way even if you haven't thrown the gadget perfectly or if it bounces off into a random direction it should provide more consistent cover. As an added bonus I feel like the walls should ping enemies who walk through them, this way you can box someone in a corner or make a rotate risky. Cheers
Hi all, i was wondering how you think my change to the operator ban phase might work, currently it's one operator after the other, defense first then attackers twice then the final defenders ban. Four individual bans. But what if the first attacker ban and first defender ban happened at the same time, so attack ban the first defender while defense is banning the first attacker. Two bans at the same time, twice. Do you think it would mix things up a bit? at the very least it'll half the about of time we spend in the ban phase which isn't a bad thing..
Hi all, i just watched a video by Coreross detailing Thorn's gadget.
Hi all hope you're well,
So i was thinking how we've been getting operators that are " crossover " operators. By this i mean an Attacker that has Defender type of gadget and vice versa. EG Cav - Nokk both are similar in sneaky play styles to some extent. Monty - Clash, full height shield. Valk - Zero. Ela - Zofia. Osa has a clear variant of the deployable shield.
One thing we don't have so far is a Defender that has a " flash effect " like Ying, Blitz etc.
So here it goes.
******
The gadget has three parts, like a bullseye.
A central stationary camera, non infrared light.
A inner flash ring, for blinding enemies who are " face on " to the gadget.
And an outer flash ring consisting of nine segments, for enemies who are approaching " side on " to the gadget.
Only the three closest segments to the enemy who triggered the flash effect will go off, this is for balancing and intel gathering purposes.
Eg Gadget is placed on a wall opposite a doorway, the three on the left flash, the defender who was watching the gadget can see the left three segments go off indicating where the threat was.
Eg2 Gadget is placed on the floor, Monty with his shield extended walks towards the gadget, gets flashed, Defender on the opposite side of the gadget isn't.
Eg3 Gadget is placed on a wall, Attacker triggers the gadget from the left and is blinded, Attacker who was on the right but wasn't close enough to trigger isn't blinded.
******
The gadget has a proximity based flash, effect is similar to Blitz shield.
The flash has a cooldown of 15 seconds.
When within 4m enemies will trigger the flash.
The flash has a range of 7m, so theres no triggering it with your back turned and not being blinded.
The gadget is placed on floors and walls in similar fashion to Bulletproof cams, Melusi's Banshee and is of similar size.
To add some uniqueness to the gadget, the flash can only be activated while someone is viewing the camera, including dead teammates.
This also applies when Dokkaebi has hacked the cams and an Attacker is using the cam, but it will still only flash Attackers.
The gadget is bulletproof but with a melee hit the central cam will get the " shattered glass " effect. The proximity flash will still work though.
Strong counters to the gadget are any explosives inc Khali's lance, Sledge's Hammer, Ying, ( immune to flash ) Finka ( can remove flash effect ) Twich, Thatcher, Zero, ( can disable for a short duration ) Nokk, ( can sneak past undetected )
Mild counter is to hit the camera or toss a smoke nade in front as it can't see through smoke.
******
The operator has two in there loadout and i feel that its well balanced.
I thought of giving them three with no central cam but thought the gadget was less dynamic like that..
Or three and they could be smaller, thrown like Valk cams and not be bulletproof. But we don't need a Valk 2.0 on defense and once the flash goes off their position would be given away and would be easily delt with.
Thoughts?
