@noxious81 You say for long-term players, I am a long-term player (almost daily since launch)
and I'm not looking forward to grind as much as this at all !!
The game is too old for that!! And what are we grinding for?
. I've seen videos of players doing Countdown solo. (so, not for that)
. (More) legendary missions? People say they are too easy (also not for that)
. Or the 2, 3 missions that are (maybe) added in the future? (only so we can do them quicker than without expertise?)
It would've made sense if this expertise was created instead of the optimization station.
But this game is too old for long-term players to grind this much.
Maybe it's doable for new players that decided to make this their long term game to play yes.
But again, it's an old game!! The new players are gonna be old players that left this game because optimization was to expensive. Or players that didn't care about power ups at all, but there was no new content coming out for them.
Players that stayed, have to grind as much as any other player.
And to add on that the caps of the resources are very low so it's not that we "long term players" could've at least pre farmed for this.
Unless we glitched the shared materials, that for some reason is still not fixed either.
But that was not necessary, as we grinded until we found a godrolled piece or a piece that we only had to optimize 0.2% and didn't cost that much.
I do get that the grinders need something but grinding like this is way too late for this game.
They need to implement this kind of mechanisms from the launch of a game as end game grind. And not 4 years after, when everyone is basically done with it.
But that's just my unpopular opinion on it.
Every player that thinks the game is too hard should just be more creative and adjust themselves. The harder difficulties aren't made for everyone. Those that don't have the time to improve right away should stay a little longer in the lower difficulties where they can enjoy the whole map and every mission.
Players that like legendaries paid the same price as everyone else, but in the end only have 3 missions, while the rest is enjoying the whole map...
(Yes we too can talk like that, but we make more sense)
Their is no need for a higher difficulty indeed. But there is also no need to walk around with blue gear to make more challenges. We just need new legendary missions. Players that do like challenges only have 3 missions for years now, everyone else have the whole map. Why is it so bad that people that only have 3 missions, get a couple more?
Everyone that (still) can't do them now, can just improve themselfs. Even if they dont have 12 hours a day to play, there is time enough for them to train, It's not that they only have a week to accomplish this.
BTW that whole time point is BS, I play daily only for 1 hour, sometimes when plans change I have more. And I can do the legendary missions just fine...
Also, there is no need for maxed out builds to do legendary missions. But it does make them a little easier (not easy).
How I know this, I did my first solo legendary when I was Watch level 180 or something with mediocre attributes.
But it's not a must to do them solo. You can matchmake, and there is no need for communications. Just play, lose, learn, play again, win, remember, lose again, learn, play again, win, win, remember, etcetera.
Full weapon damage builds (6 reds) should get a buff in PvE. (Certainly sniper builds)
The moment you start shooting (any weapon) you get all the attention and the NPC's almost kill you in half a second.
While your 3 bullets fired (before you are forced back into cover) don't even take off 1 armor segment of them.
NPC's will take off all your armor and 99% health with those same 3 bullets.
Even if you have armor cores they wreck you fast.
This is also the reason most people use skill builds all the time.
Another thing, LMG's and the Gunner Mini Gun are useless.
Yes you get 100-150 bullets, but the moment you shoot it, every NPC you aim it on goes in cover. (Which could be the idea yes)
But then the NPC's on the far left/right start shooting you, and almost kill you again with just 3 of their bullets.
So they are useless, especially the Mini Gun.
Can we get a Capacitor version that gives 85.000 armor per red core?
And instead of a AR it's a LMG (with good damage) so you can really give that suppressing support and do damage as well as survive a little longer at the same time.
PS: If this is OP in PvP, make it a PvE exclusive exotic weapon which talent doesn't work in the DarkZone and Conflict.
@viking_jarl the hunters are already nerfed in countdown... they don't even use skills in there, (besides the auto emp when they spawn in), they only have skills if you give them skills to hack and use against you.
If 4 players with OP gear cant kill 1 hunter, then it's the 4 players that need to improve. I mean if I can do it alone with my potato aim (on moving enemies) then 4 players with equal aim or better should be alright...
I'm still waiting for some FIFA players demanding to make "Legendary" or "World Class" difficulty easier, because they paid the same price and also want to win the toughest tournaments without needing to be good at the game.
I'm also still waiting for the DOOM players demanding to make the "Nightmare" mode easier, so that everyone can directly jump into this mode as everyone paid the same price
they knowingly ignore the fact that there are already lower difficulty levels which they could play on. While players who are looking for really hard content already can't find a suitable difficulty anymore in the range available in the game.
All of this!!
Mortar turret is crazy if you know how to use it.
Keep playing with it till you know how it works.
My shield got destroyed at the end of the iron horse raid. When we stand in the cave my shield just gets destroyed, but before the update it could probably hold the cave situation twice in a row as my shield health was damaged for 50% back then.
Are these secret nerfs in pve? Or pvp nerf accidentally implemented in pve?
@dust-demon I support this but what we really need is more Hunters to kill in the open world, multiple encounters per day, not once or as a one time event. Or if you do missions really fast you get Hunters as boss fight or after the boss fight.
But that is just my opinion.
@dutchlmb4ever this sounds really good.
That activity is indeed useless for a blokkade.
One settlement doesn't have gates at every direction though.
But instead of coming out of a gate, the Allies can shoot from above the wall?
And the completing rewards is too much.
Exotic 1, named 1, optimization 1, material 1.
Tactical assessments 5 per faction.
Gear guns and mods drop from normal enemies so that can go.
The skill vanity reward is creative and good.
And the three masks are good too.

This game has a $10 season pass which includes unique cosmetics
And that for 300 credits more, instead of 700 for 1 signature weapon skin. But like you said the game has season pass cosmetics, so why make even more if its already being created.
That's just a easy way to make a point, shame on you. I think everyone wants that. But bugs will eventually be fixed anyway, and new content is already on it's way as well.
I still think my suggestion is good to have even for a one time offer. Let's agree to disagree.
Only people who have 200 premium credits. Which given nobody else has replied suggests it's a small number. Plus, your suggestion is dangerously close to pay2win.
I think everyone gets the same 200 premium credits (I didn't bought the year 1 pass), i just don't know from what.
And i have seen that point being made a while ago somewhere else on this forum. But is the whole community on this forum? I only see the same 30 people commenting on eachother.
Yes the suggestion could become close to pay2win if people can do it with 9 items, maybe keep it at 3 items instead. It could help out veteran players that still can't find that 1 or 2 perfect items. And it can help out new players too, mot as much as veterans but still.
Signature weapons are not skills.
Thats true but you said new shield as well.
Which I also didn't buy (700 a piece), what's that 8€$£ for a weapon skin? Which in all honesty nobody looks at, even the player itself doesn't look at it.
In a free game you can ask 8 bucks for a skin, to show support but not in a paid for game.
That might be, but everyone would use it. They could even make it so, that you can do it for 1 full build. I'm sure that many people would buy premium credits for that. 200 a piece means 1800 credits.
I haven't bought any skill cosmetic and don't care about it at all, and with me many others. Even the developers don't care about it, as some skills (still) don't have them.
I have 200 premium credits sitting on my account since the launch of the game, from just playing the campaign, I guess. And I have nothing to spend these credits on. I have 2 ideas for this.
At the cost of 200 premium credits:
Give us a "1 time option" to craft 1 item on which we can choose whatever we want on it, attributes and talent wise. The core stays the same (unless its a improvised gear piece), which can be recalibrated after the item is crafted.
Give us a "1 time option" to recalibrate a second time on 1 item.
Both suggestions are not for exotic items.
Not that I did it for this reason i just needed protective fabrics, but if you deconstruct gear for protective fabric you also get brandset materials so you can craft the item right? Now the protective fabric is shared but the brandset materials aren't shared. I ran 3 new characters tru NYC and I bought with all 3 agents 2x 150 brazos chest pieces at the vendor in NYC (and some more as 300 chests doesn't make 9999 protective fabrics). But that's 300 per agent, so I should have 900 brazos materials right? But I only have 335 after doing this 3 times.
They will only do that in a paid dlc I think. But I wouldn't want that at all. There is no challenge in open world content, and with expertise it's even easier now. But my point was, that they are gonna use the fact that tidal basin isn't played much (without mentioning the other fact that it is locked behind the invasion) to not make more legendary mission's. And i find that a little bit corrupt. Not that that's the only reason ofcourse, because the rewards are not great either. I mean backpack trophies as a reward for completing the hardest content in the game isn't good at all.
The new umbra gear is not in the appearance slot list. I like the mask but I can't put it as appearance on my other masks.
And you can't dye them either. This also the case with brazos, and is still the case with the previous new gear (heartbreaker and the other one). At least I can't change the colours on them.
Hello everyone, I received an update from our Division team this morning, they told us that yes, it is working as intended, all players will have to unlock the mission Tidal Basin each week again as part of the weekly invasion, to then take part in the Legendary difficulty
Mark my words guys, this is what is going to be said by Yannick/Daria.
"We have monitored the activities in the new legendary missions and as one of the missions isn't played that much, we have decided to not create more of them. It's apparently not something what the community wants, so we're gonna put our resources into something else."
