How many threads/posts does it take for you guys to take us seriously? At leas acknowledge you're looking into it... Sheesh.
Especially on mobile.
Do you guys seriously not do any quality assurance testing on anything you release!?
This game is as stable as a drunken clown on a unicycle. When you guys resort to suggestions such as turning off your own in-game overlay, you know something is broken. AC Valhalla has only been out about year now, please get your act together.
@wanimar
I just wish they’d at least acknowledge it. All these posts here and on Reddit, and it’s STILL not on their list of known issues!?
I tried opening a ticket and using their “support” but it was a joke.
I unfortunately just started over, deleted all my saves and left myself at the beginning of the game and now I’ll wait until until they can get their crap fixed.
Same with Cyberpunk 2077. Sheesh.
By telling people NOT to play a game that you released with all the known issues?

You shouldn't have released the game in the first place - especially if you're at the point where you have to tell paying customers to not use your product until it's "fixed".
@Ubi-Woofer @UbiPositive @UbiKobold @UbiKoreanBBQ
Just tried a benchmark and watched my CPU usage. I have a 9900k and CPU [1] would go as high as 80% at 1440p, while every other core sat at 30%'ish.
I'm not going to bother posting screenshots, videos, my dxdiag and msinfo32 as many others have already done this, but enough is enough.
If you can't make your DX12 Anvil Next engine multi-threaded in 2021, then I am at a loss for words.
@ubi-woofer @UbiKobold
Nope, not doing to bother with opening a ticket, and submitting all that info you requested when there are plenty of screenshots and dxdiag/msinfo32 here to prove it.
And besides, please don't tell me the developers of the game don't have access to similar hardware that both myself and others are reportedly using. If you can't reproduce this in house by simply turning off/on Hyperthreading in the BIOS, then something is pretty wrong with your development team.
Finally - what's the point? Look how long it takes for them to push out updates! Remember the Yule event and how EVERYONE'S Evior loaded in drunk?! We had to wait until the next patch to fix something simple like that. And now there are NEW bugs with River Raids, downgraded weapons, quests that are STILL broken, so I think that I'll just uninstall AC Valhalla and come back to it February 2022 when it's finally ready to be played.
@plan3tcrackr
My crash report log files are empty as well. And there’s nothing in event logs either.
i have an open ticket with their support, but they haven’t been helpful at all.
The thing is, why haven’t they acknowledged this as a known issue when there are multiple posts here, Reddit, etc?
This is getting ridiculous.
@ubiqub3
Does your Dev team also have a QA team?! It seems every Title Update (which takes over a month to release) fixes a few bugs, but introduces even more.
And don't get me started on the list of known issues that haven't even been properly acknowledged and/or addressed.
But this is just sad: "Let's release new content like River Raids and once someone gets a new ability book, they can't use guaranteed assassination's anymore!"
How does that even get back QA before being released?!?
How about an actual Developer come here on the forums and explain their methodology and how they release Title Updates in such horrible state?
@longjohn119 But but - they neeeeeeeed your MSINFO, DXDIAG and blood type because they are too inept to figure this out!
@mechcentric This is a known issue. Heck, even after a cutscene the game will not recognize/save VSYNC issues so I don't even know why UbiSoft support is even asking you to troubleshoot it.
@longjohn119 Sad thing is that it's MY COMPUTER. Let me see the logs for what's going on in MY COMPUTER.
I know I may sound entitled right now, but I cannot count on them to look at my DXDIAG log, go out and assemble a computer just like mine with the same hardware/software and troubleshoot it. It's beyond ridiculous.
@longjohn119 Same here. ONLY Valhalla is having issues on my PC. All other games are as steady as a rock, yet AC Valhalla can crash at any time.
Who wants to play a game where they are sitting on edge, waiting for the game to crash when opening the inventory, the map, selecting a dialogue choice, etc?
@longjohn119 But but - they neeeeeeeed your MSINFO, DXDIAG and blood type because they are too inept to figure this out!
@ubi-woofer Of course there are no problems with my MSINFO. The game just crashes randomly and there are no errors in Event Viewer, so I was hoping to view the data your software is collecting on my computer to help diagnose the problem.
Guess not.
@ubi-borealis
Where are these crash reports located?
I too am having crashing issues since the latest patch, and when I go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Assassin's Creed Valhalla\logs and look at the uplay_crash_reporter.txt it's always empty - even before pressing the Send button.
I've also looked in the following places to see if I could narrow down what's going on:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs
It would be nice to see what's in the logfiles to help determine what's going on here as there's a numerous thread about this.
