Hi,
Finally, you have heard our crying according to incraise the cap of the collectible materials, yeah we already know your limits of the game-motor, but 4 digits are same datas in case of 1500 or 9999...
So I decided to share my opinions and proposals according to the present system and costs, after I reached the lvl20 in expertise system, without using any SHD to donate (however I have high amount of SHD), just farm the items to donate, or to play with them (at least weapons/skills were in the loadout, even they were not in use).
Some tuning proposals for the costs:
According to the expertise leveling up cost: soooo, what to say?
Is it high? A little bit.
Affordable? Depends on you SHD level, or in game time of farming and of course of your efficiency of the farming, and finally of your luck getting exo items (I mean exo componnents )
Some not so big changes what would change its cost a slighly:
Please change the material request in case of Policarbonate/Steel/Ceramics (green ones) vs Carbon Fiber/Titan/Electronics (blue ones). Presently we need to donate much higher amount of the blues (more or less double) to level up an item.
Please just simple change these on the opposite amounts, and already it is "cheaper", just do it at every kind of items, weapons and skills.
Protective fabric, Receiver component, Field recon data, SHD calibration: No concerns, the costs are actually OK.
Filament: however the total 4500 filaments seem a bit too high as cost, but based on the skills leveling are account wide, OK, this can be afforded.
Exo components:
It is hard to say the solving formula, as we have different requirements:
Skills: like at the filament, based on this is account wide, the 55 exo components are actually OK, at least from my point of view, mainly as we can level it up till lvl10 without exo components.
Weapons: Same cost, 55 exo components to be maximized an exact weapon, seems a little bit high for me, but yeah it can be a possible reason to demolish some extra weapons, and free spaces in the inventory or stash. Hard to say to decraise it, as to try a weapon we don't need to maximize it to be able to decide if we can/want to use it, so I have a strange feeling, it seems too high, but from other side it is affordable.
Brand/gear/named set items: Here I can say, the cost is much too higher then the effort we can get from it. So in case we want tot maximize a full loadout of items we need 150!!!!! exo components in total.
150 exo vs ~145k armor??? No, if we want to be precize: 150 exo vs 65k armor, as till lvl11 (+80k armor alltogether at lvl11) we can level up without exo components.
So (from my point of view) this is too much, I don't really see any reason to "pay" this incredible high cost for the 65k extra armor, you need to recalculate its exo components requirement, ASAP.
Specialization expertise cost: I don't really understand, why it is character wide only, please modify it to account wide!
Stash/Inventory space:
Accordiong to the high numbers of the different gears, we need more and more spaces, if we want to hold those what are woth to store.
Yeah, I saw some proposal already, I am not sure what is the blocking point, or why those ideas are not OK, but, I think the most trivial should work:
* In case of skill and gear mods this should be library based not item based, so we can donate the mods to store these values to reach the present highest one, and the mod places can be filled from the library, and can be changed as now. Its space should be not diefferen from the total space anymore, aso you can maybe incraise the total space of the inventory and stash.
I also know that this is not a big problem for many players, mainly those who are casual players, but those who try many loadouts and don't wan to farm that pieces what were already farmed, but they were demolilshed to have free spaces, this is an annoying problem.
Here is some advise to solve this, I am not sure how big work to implement this into the game, but this can be worked, at least maybe:
* Pawnshop: There would be a vendor, where you can store items (100, 200, any) what we don't use daily/weekly, or we just want to hold. This can be at a different place, where we can see only the items in the pawnshop vs inventory, or pawnshop vs stash, so we would be able to store items at there, so these items should be not rendered at all time, just at that very special place, where all of the source can work on it to display the items :D, maybe we can have some simplified datas also in the White House at a special computer, like an Excel sheet, where we can see just the brand/type, name, values of the attributes, mod type and value in case of items (the main infos only). No icons, no graphic info, just the datas, and we know, our items are in good hands.
* Linked account: It is similar to the Pawnshop, but this would be a "paid one", based on that the stash/inventory space is not a problem for many players, maybe we vould have an option to LINK account(s) (1 or more) to our main account, and we can send items to its stash or stash and inventory. There would be no option to play with those linked accounts, but there should be a simplified exchange place, also with simplified info, no need of graphic objects, just like an excel sheet or similar, we would be able to move items in and out. These accounts need to be bought, so those who need extra space, can buy more, and those who don't need it just play further. In case I don't need the extra storing space, I can unlink the account after I get back everything, or just unlink it, and demolish the items it stored before.
Accoridng to the stash space "brain storming", please give us some feedback about your "physical" limits, to be able to share some more precise ideas with you, in case of the aboves are over the feasible ones!
I also have some more questions, according to the game, the main ones:
I would be happy to see some feedback from Ubi Div2 team, and of course players' opinions are also welcome here about these topics
ps: I do not mentioned the most importent topic, the CTD, as many of the tpoics are about it, hope they can solve this finally.
First of all, I started the PTS only just a few times, mainly to check how the Proficiency and Expertise system work.
I could play the Countdown just a few times, and my experience is that this will be OK, however presently it is too easy, but the matchmaking was not working almost at all, I was only invited as nearby agent in the BOO.
The game mode is intense and fun, but this wil not saved the Division2, as the replayabality is very low of this mode, I can compare this to Kenly colleague, where I was less then 10 times, however I had ~4500 hours in the game.
If there will be no special material what is dedictaed just to this mode (dog tags???), or some commendation, I am not sure if I will play this more than 10 times...
Proficiency & Expertise system:
Finally, somehting what give us some aim to reach/work on it, but this is still not content, only just some additional evolution and improvement, but not content, but at least we could use the materials we got or play for some more to maximize the loadouts.
The price we should "pay" for the levels seems OK, not too less maybe a little bit much, but defenetely affordable.
BUG1: The expertise system was not working in case of the special shotgun ENFORCER, please check we could not rais its level at all.
BUG2: As I see it is known, that the armor is not updated automatically when you incraise an item's grade level, just when you change loadouts.
Some advises over the present planned modification:
1. Over all and firstly, FIX the crash to desk on PC finally, it kills the game :(((
2. Raise the limits up. It is very important as to be able to use the expertise system properly we have to donate huge amounts of the items/materials.
2.1. The 300 stash places are not enough already (it has not been enough for a long time), as the versatility is one of the biggest strengh of this game, and however I have 4 characters (2 store characters, 1 HC and 1 farming character) My stash and characters' inventory have been fulled for ages and I have to trash/sell god roll items from the stash every week, what I have to farm again, when I want to try an another loadout/gear. Please RAISE THE limit of the stash on 500 MINIMUMM! And also the character's backapck on 200 minimum.
2.2. Raise the limit at every materials, the present amount we can collect maximum is ultra low, we will need to go to recalibration station in evey 10 minutes...
My proposal of the new limits, frankly speaking these are the minimum you should raise it up (I faremd this game a lot :D) :
Supplies: 500 / each (1000?)
Optimization materials:
SHD Calibration: 1000 (or more)
Field Recon Data: 2000 (or more
Assesments: 500 / each (1000?)
Weapon alloys: 2500 / each (or more)
Weaves: 2500 / each (or more)
Materials:
Receiver component: 5000
Protective fabric: 5000
Steel/Ceramics/Polycarbonate/Carbon Fiber/Electronics/Titanuium: 3000/each (4000-5000 would be better)
Branded (Gold) crafting materials: 200/each (or more)
Gear set (Green) crafting materials: 200/each
Raid sourced materials:
10-e materials: 200pcs
Negotiator / Tip of the spear / Aces Marks materials: 100 / each
Ironworks Base materials: 200pcs
Ironworks Bulwar Alloy / Future fabric: 100 / each
Exotic components: 100 pcs
Keys: This should be account wide and the limits:
Fraction keys: 200 / each
Dark Zone keys: 100pcs
Dark Hours Cypher Fragment: 25pcs
Iron Horse Cypher Fragment: 25pcs
3., Why don't you want to start the Expertise system already? Over the small bugs I also found, I do not see any reason not to implement it ASAP, I see that this is playable, and this would be a big improvement to kill the time in the game further.
4., Will you implement more commendation into the game? We need more and correct info about it!
5., When Hardcore mode will be in the final state? Why it is still only beta? Do you plan finish this mode, and release the not "beta" version?
Please do it, and also the hardcore players would need a 5th charcter place, what is dedivated to the HC character (we should start more HC if anybody wants), but let not the HC character take the place away from a normal one!
6. Some award caches give us peenut of the amount of the sources, please incraise them:
Crafting gear cache: 200 from each
Crafting weaopon cache: 200 from each
Optimization cache: 25 SHD / 50 Field recon data / 25 Assesments / 50 alloys/Weaves
And lot more
I have the same problem, this is even worst then before....
Guys! What the hell are you doing? Do you want to kill the game totally?
Fix this, as this crashing is still here from the begionning of this February!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is not a new problem, but now it is more serious and this ~11 months show us, that u are totally out of control of this game, and the present developers know nothing how to solve this.
I have also same CTD problem another Ubi games, like AC Valhalla and Far Cry 6, shame on you Ubisoft, you have just received the worst game publisher award of 2021!!!!
@imagine_brata
You are right!
that would be also a solution if they just set those directives to the Season7 (whta was the season 4 earlier) what was at Season 4.
Now these directives are those, what were active at Season3 (sucks).
OR - However I know this is too much to ask - set the game like Summit, that we should set all of the directives also in DC/NY....
That would be a small improvement for a long time....
Ehh, I should wake up now, we are talking about Division 2 developers...
@calaxanas
Your opinion is simple and sadly one-sided. This is just PvP side, if they nerf this talent they kill a lot of non PvP builds.
Hope they will not touch this in PvE!
I don't really care about PvP, as in case you have to use a build with this talent in DZ, that means, there are 4 morons who camp a checkpoint and kill players who do not even can move when they enter the DZ, thank to the spawning mechanic...
clap-clap
This is why "most PvP based players" hate the skills, however this game is more about the skills, as the division agents are high tech ones, who kill note just by weapon.
Anyway this talent has more disadvantage then advantage, as you can kill the players easily just with some bullets, in case you can hit that at all.
@arendon84
I hope they will not listen to this "idea". There are dozens of working builds where there are no places for Fox or Copntractors....
OMG, your advise just decreaises the possible builds more not even incraises the diversity.
@noxious81
I agree with you, at least more or less.
I still have a big concern, according to the brand/set items lvl12-20, and the benefit we got for those grade levels, what is too less compared its cost.
This is not just even not so much, but ludicrously less compared its cost. This has to be overviewed by the devs.
Sure, I can live with it, as I will not upgrade any of my items on lvl12 or upper, they just save my time.
My other proposal is to change the requirements of blue/green materials changes the game only slightly, but at least woudl be the same as you can farm the materials.
Just for sure: when I am talking about "casual" players I am not in that group, as I have 5000+ hours in the game, and almost 20k SHD, most of my weapons what I use are already at lvl20, almost every builds are at lvl11.
So when I talk about cost optimization, it is mainly not about me, but I have some experience about collecting materials without using SHD, like I have not used any SHD to level up the proficiency.
@imagine_brata
Yep, nobody talked about its time requirements.
It is well known, that somebody can reach the max level under a day, other ones need ages, as everybody has different style and source.
The about post was the COST of leveling up the items.
There was only one main concern about the cost: the gear/brand sets upgrade cost over lvl11.
65k armor for 150 exo components?
LOL, this is really not about the time request, but just only for a few extreme players, who like to see lvl20 everywhere.
This is what need to be reconsidered and recalculated by devs.
The other proposals for change (green vs blue materials change, specialisation account wide) are not game breaking changings, would be a fine tuning for the players to normalize the costs for the casual players too.

@desrocchi
If you are asking meg, the answer, that I know it, but I also had some items what were rolled back from the upgrade, and what is more, there were items rolled back on lower level then the expected...
I just saw Yannick"s tweet about it, and he wrote, in case of anybody lost item upgrade (even if this was only 1 item) he is eligible for the compensation.
So, where are my compensation caches?
Hi,
I was at lvl 23 of expertise level, and after the rollback I was at lvl16, and also some of my items were rolled back on lvl 16 (and also some of them were rolled back more, on lvl15, strange).
Today I should get some compensation, but I got nothing....
My mailbox is not full, but there are no any compensation caches there.
Could you solve this, or why I got nothing?
@quinch1199
Hi,
There is a working solution for you and to all who has this problem:
Instead of you press the "R", you should click on the title "R I Overwrite", and when it asks you to confirm, just hit the SPACE.
This method is working immediately, and overwrite the loadout 100%, it is enough to make this once.
I have used this method for months (or year?), and worked 100%, I also was sicked and tired to press the R, and just could hope it worked, but now it is more easy and 100% working way.
Hi,
Some items, what are missing or somthing is wrong with them:
Missing item:
Ammo dump - This is a NAMED (crafable) Badger Tuff HOLSTER item, what is missing from the list of HOLSTERS, where the other named and exo items are. Ammo dump has a special attribute: +10% Ammo capacity.
Missing/wrong item:
Pointman - This is a NAMED Gila Guard VEST item, what is missing from the list of HOLSTERS, where the other named and exo items are. That is a strange that there is a normal Gila Guard item in the list of Holsters, this is Armadillo Vest, I assume the named item is made from the Armadillo Vest originally, but the Armadillo is a normal one, but the Pointman is a named with Perfect Talent.
Please correct these!
I found these on PC.
In case I found another ones during my process I will add them to this topic!
@arendon84
I hope they will not listen to this "idea". There are dozens of working builds where there are no places for Fox or Copntractors....
OMG, your advise just decreaises the possible builds more not even incraises the diversity.
@ubichrismang
So, your answer about the feedback we (I mean the overall community) gave you about PTS Phase 1.
Some remarks about the results:
"Gaining Proficiency Rank feels too fast"
This was only true in the new game mode, Countdown.
Yes, the proficiency rank could be maximized with the gear you used in this mode just playing the Countdown 3 times.
BUT, this was not true when you played just open world. For example I cleared a Heroic CP with 5 directives just to check what amunt XP I get, and this was peenut compared to the Countdown. The XP I got only around 10-11k XP/items. What I did not check if the directives work upon the amount of the proficiency XP or not, hope yes, as hardcore players should awarded for their performance.
"For the next PTS phase, we are planning to remove rewards that drop for all players at a long distance."
Not a good idea, as one of the reward of this game the loot, and to be able to achieve the 15 min limit in this game mode, many tim we have to separate, mainly in a matchmaking group, where you don't know who are those you have to play with. Still we cannot get all of the loot, but if you want to punish us because of I play random guys, it leads to not play with random guys, who run 1000 directions with no teamplay.
"Donate all button"'
Very good idea!
Some other opinion:
1., Do you plan to do somthing with these materials what we collect or got as awards, but they are useless:
They can be used to donate also in Proficiency/Expertise levels as donate materials, at least the Textiles should be used as alternaative donate material!!!!
2., DZ Resource
This should be also available to donate, this would incraise the DZ activities.
@calaxanas
