I run a shotgun/SMG build for DPS in dark hours LFG's with firewall, Glass Cannon and Versatile, focused into CHD/CHC
My SMG of choice for that build is the Cold Relations. Perfectly Strained is awesome and with the large magazine and slower rate of fire, that gun hits like a truck.
I still would like to see an optional timer (like the raid timers or even just the simple league timer) made available for the regular missions. Some of us really enjoy the speedrunning aspect of missions and would appreciate a visual marker along the way.
It would also be nice if the leaderboards got fixed, but seeing as how long they've been broken I won't hold my breath.
I'm almost exclusively a raid player at this point, most of which (95%) is Dark Hours speed-running.
I think I have Perfect Glass Cannon or Glass Cannon on nearly every single build that I run for the raids, apart from a few special support builds that buff group damage.
The reason being that 25% (or 30% for PGC) AMPLIFIED damage is a massive boost, and its on 100% of the time for every damage source you put out.
Bullets? Amplified
Oxys? Amplified
Negotiators? Amplified
You get the idea.
After an extended time of using GC on builds, its now like normal play to me. I don't feel squishy and my play has evolved to simply avoid taking damage while still being able to be mobile.
Granted, I don't play things like Legendary content where it is an issue, mostly because I've done them once and don't really get any more value from running them over and over again.
@sock_monkey
High CHD builds are some of my favorites (I don't dabble in PVP. Never cared for Divisions take on it). There is no cap on CHD, so with some builds you can get to absurdly high numbers. I have a build to max out the Backfire safely, which is well into the 400's for CHD once the bonus tops out.

@ubi-mark I don't have my original Xbox One any more to record and show the difference.
It is however VERY easy to replicate on actual hardware.
If you are on the Xbox One / Xbox One S / Xbox One X and try to shoot the ravenous at a high rate of fire with a controller, it is smooth and reacts normally as any other semi-auto rifle. Very intuative.
If you are on the new Xbox Series S / Xbox Series X and try to shoot the ravenous at a high rate of fire with a controller and don't hit the timing absolutely perfectly (which is actually slower than on the XB1 platforms), it stutters and the fire rate drops even more.
This makes it nearly impossible to use effectively compared to other options.
If you need to see it for yourselves, try and build the stacks as fast as possible in both builds of the game on the actual hardware. it will be immediately obvious what I'm talking about. Everyone I've talked to that has switched to Series S/X has this issue.
I reported this in the old forums and want to make sure that it is carried over to this new forum as it is still an issue.
On the Xbox Series X version of the game, the fire-rate limit for the ravenous is very inconsistent causing issues in quickly hitting consecutive shots.
this is very very apparent when switching from the last gen to current gen versions of the game.
