

What I find really odd is when you compare gameplay elements from the old games that somehow don't work today when they did for those being a negative somehow is really baffling. The challenging nature of building and micromanaging is what made those games. It's also what separated them from other city building/RTS games of the time, and still does. Who are you making this game for?

Why do people keep saying The Settlers has never been an RTS? IT IS an RTS and always has been. They've never been purely city builders.
Anyway on topic, probably a wise move to postpone the game...once again. I enjoyed the beta, but its clearly not what was wanted. IE the 2019 version, which looked a lot better. Bring that version out and you've got a winner.
