Why does it have to rotate my camera when I start a raid? Is the game under the impression I don't know where I am or what I am doing?
Why does it have to show me kill camera. Always wrong. Always annoying. I have a spear in my hand but the game HAS TO show me how I kill animals from up close with an axe. Why?
Why did you guys change the boat mechanics? Why doesn't it turn in place anymore? And why does it turn the other way around sometimes. You want to turn right, turn right, both boat and camera to see where you're going and the boat goes left. Why?
Why does the boat corner so bad? Any particular reason?
Why is combat so idiotic? Why are weapons so bland? So unexciting.
Why are enemies in river raids so aware of their environment. It's like they have 20/20 vision all of the time.
Why do enemies with a heavy weapon hit me faster than I can hit them with a fast weapon?
Why do rations reset when you go in river raids?
Why is there no raven in the river raids?
Why did you nerf the raven from Origins/Odyssey?
Why did you removed the horse from the river raids?
Why are there multiplayer and ONLINE features in a single player game?
Why ohhh why would you continue to push changes that players reject? Are so convinced you guys at Ubi want to part ways with some of your biggest fans that were with you since AC1? Coz ... trust me Ubi ... that is exactly what is going to happen.

It's our game. The players. We payed for it. We want it the way we want it. Do what u're told or you'll be selling your crap to nobody. Fix the damn bugs to start with and STOP with planning another game for now. Be very very careful what you do next. Coz you're on notice Ubi.

I confess. I know what class of bug this is. This is a major bug. But I didn't intend to find it.

I was aiming to do the minigame orlog trophy. And was jumping from town to town and playing the minigame. And at one time, I teleported out of a game. Started playing. Realized after coin toss that I already did that location... teleport to next location to play. Except... you are left in ghost mode. Which means, npcs dont aggro you. Except wild life. Fishes still run away from you.

Anyway... not sure i'll be able to get out of the "bug". I tried to die and that didn't seem to change things. seems i'm now a ghost. i later looked things up online and it turns out someone else found this. the fact that it works is so embarrassing. the logic behind it is simple. once you stop for a game of orlog, you have to make the player immune to environment. maybe a npc walks by, a bear or smth. many bugs. you dont know. but the general idea when you do a cut scene like orlog is you switch player to a ghost mode. not in world. not attackable. if you teleport out of a game, (which you should not be able to do) the ghost mode should be canceled. it's not.

I'm 2 thingies plus hunting and fishing away from 100%. I hope this ghost mode is not permanent. Not sure what to make of it. Now that I know about it... kinda want to start the whole thing over just based on that. I mean... to be able to do that on console is pretty big. Just saying.

I fished there. There are no big flatfish. You can see them easily. The ones traveling in pairs are regulars. The ones in groups of 5 are small. The only big ones are the ones that stand by themselves and jump out of the water.

A bit north of where AlphaGoose is saying that he caught that big flat fish, there are tons of regular and small flatfish. That is true. But in like... tens of hours spent fishing there, I never caught a big flat fish. And I don't believe this guy. Maybe he got ONE big flat fish looting from somewhere else. Other people said they looted fish. And as far as I remember I did too at several points. But it's like <1% loot chance. I don't believe him. I finished the entire map and am level >500 and he clearly isn't. Wealth 0, artifacts 1, level way smaller than 340. He does play on playstation because the icons are as such, but he didn't get flat fish from there. I'm sorry, but I don't believe him. And who the hell stops the game progression to fish at level < 340?

Regular flat fish often can't be caught for some reason, that is true, and they end up running away from you, but they are regular. I know because they travel in pairs.

I would be very upset if Ubi decided to censor this type of feedback. But to their credit... they didn't.

And just as I was watching these videos, I was thinking to myself if we actually have the standing to go against Abstergo. I mean, we can threaten to not buy their products. Which I am totally down with, for all the same reasons. But somehow I think they kinda prepared for that in their strategy to go for broader appeal.

From my point of view, it's like a swan song. The last lament before a death. There's nothing else to do but part ways. And there's nothing more painful than a breakup in my opinion. And this particular one hits very hard for me.

Except other people have found solace in playing older titles. I feel like even those are tainted. I can't enjoy them anymore. It's like trying to watch a Kevin Spacey movie.

Turns out... some people work in the dark and do dark things. And other people work in the light and still do dark deeds. Personally, i feel dirty. How did that happen in months I don't know. But it's without precedent for me.

@quinch1199 Did you teleport out of an orlog game or something else? That seems like a ghost mode of some kind. You started an activity, and then teleported out of it, I think. Which puts you in limbo. Try to start that same activity again, to reset.

btw, where does basim come from btw? I'm not sure it was ever revealed. Based on accent and everything else, we're lead to believe somewhere in the orient... not sure where, sigurd found basim and brought him along... we later find out why he willingly came along. BUT... the similarities with Altair robes are obvious I am thinking. White robes with red. The fact that he asked for the "current" mentor. He is an assassin. A precursor to Al-Mualim. There was even a line of dialogue that hinted that he also knew about the hidden ones. but I don't remember what it was. I kinda want new game plus, not just new game, before starting over. But I do want to start over. Just not completely over. I did spend 212 hours in this thing.

logged in today. as soon as i got to the church door, a happy old woman came out, and started to pray outside at a nearby cross, talking about how the outside world is better. i felt that. then i got the completionist medal. and finally got to finish the game. i want to thank the devs that inherited a [censored] and still managed to pull it off. i was afraid i was going to have to restart to get that trophy. but some new kid and ubi, made it possible to save my 300 hour run. i want to thank that kid. not his bosses. or the company that fracked it up in the first place.

to be fair, the problem fixed itself. i logged in today, after a long while to see what changed. and went to the place, and as soon as i entered the clearing, the kid told me to put it down on the rock and everything else went as expected.

From Ubi's point of view, this is called good marketing. From my point of view, this is called lying. But then, this is only a drop in the bucket.

It's a matter of principle. Since the only gain is for opals, I will do it in the most lazy cheating way possible. Because I hate Ubi for what they did to this game. Even if I could do it the right way... I DON'T WANT TO.

They added that in in the latest patch at options / settings / finisher camera on/off. But it only works for people, not animals.

Are Ubi actually waiting for players to just start over without NG+? What exactly is happening? What am I supposed to do with a one handed sword AFTER 320 hours of play? Seriously...

There's no "replay" button anywhere. What am I supposed to do with the one handed sword? I have a few suggestions for Ubi and that youtube that made the video in the first place what to do with it, but I don't want to be banned again.
