@simplethumb Now I'm sure they just don't flat out believe us w/o a video or at least pics.... I could (and have) spelled out issues word for word, step by step, even getting technical sometimes. i think. They STILL ask for a damn video... I've never done video on my PS4, except for deleting some then turning of the "auto video capture" setting or w/e the hell it was... I'm not even sure if i start a video that it'll record for as long as I want (isn't it limited to like 30 seconds?). I do a video I'm going to be using my phone, THEN I'll be trying to control Eivor one handed... screw that, you want proof?... pics will suffice. If not, too bad.

Ok.. now I'm on the Raven challenge of Uffentune... can you please explain to me how dropping a cargo net full of boxes (the ones held in the air you can shoot down) on an enemy's head doesn't count as an indirect kill? Do i have to wait longer for someone to walk under it? Cause I'm shooting an arrow at the ground just under one to draw the closest guy to that spot, then drop it on him.

EDIT: well now I've also killed one letting bears loose, one by shooting the exploding jar next to the silo then the silo blew and killed one, then another who was just next to another red jar I shot... NOTHING is COUNTING as indirect kills. Waste of my time.... >.> Forget this I'm just gonna do the Ireland and France dlc's and move on to other games. It's been way too long on one game already...

Edit 2: good god, i had to find a YOUTUBE VIDEO to realize indirect kills only count on the actual TARGETS with green arrows on them... >.< Maybe be a little clearer???

@ubi-peach lol troubleshooting and verifying game files... give me a break. After reading more of this thread I can conclude one common issue. IT'S NOT OUR SYSTEMS! It's your mediocre devs... Honestly I have NEVER seen this many problems in a game until I started playing this... sheesh

@fyreinsyde well this is the first Ostara festival I've had the game on to see so maybe that's why i have no problems seeing anything... PS4 here

man that's odd... I'm on a launch ps4 and had no issue, except the bear you find when tracking the "deadly predator" (lmao i have to admit that little quest was hilarious) was floating in mid-air like 5 feet off the ground...

Edit: actually you're on pc... there's like hundreds (or a thousand) different configurations and parts pc's can have. You should post your specs/parts since you're on pc so they know what they're dealing with. It's not a console where they're all identical pretty much...

@ubi-orion Man do your devs play things before releasing them? Another screwed up challenge... I'm trying one of the new ones. Saint Guthlac's Point Bear Mastery Challenge... The mushrooms you eat to get more adrenaline DON'T RESPAWN if you simply restart the challenge, you have to exit out altogether and start it again the same way i said before with the other one... When i say they don't respawn, they're there, but if you picked a certain one up before, there's no prompt to eat it the next time. It's impossible to use Dive of the Valkyries to get around faster when there's no extra adrenaline to pick up.

nope it's not the armor, I just restarted a river after changing his gear back to what he had before (galloglach pants and head, brigadine body, hidden ones gloves and that cloak from the store that has a lion pelt across the shoulders). He's still holding it backwards. One thing i just saw, HE was the one waiting to open a chest at the first raid on the Rhine. Soon as we opened it, he grabbed his weapon and shield again, the shield WAS the correct way... for like a second then it flipped.

Title says it all, I didn't notice this until last night. I even switched shields he was using from the Hrafn Guard to the Wolf shield you see in the pics (you can see another raider using that same shield towards the front on the path as we're leaving a raid, my guy is the one at the back), but it's still backwards. Now I don't think you've really updated the game in the past month so i don't think you fixed one thing then broke another again... but i did change the armor he was wearing so idk maybe one of them has a glitch that causes this? idk... I just went back and forth on the Rhine (starting a raid, then going back to the settlement) and it's doing it every time, it's not a fluke. He's now wearing variations on the Wayland Helmet, gloves, and boots, the Dark Knight body from Reda's shop, and I think the top rank of the Thegn cloak. I also got the Reaper scythe from the store recently and put it on him, he was using the Eclipse scythe before and i didnt' notice this. Then again i also had him using a big full shield (the fire and ice dragon one) and didn't notice this then either.

Ok, I just went to the river Exe and started a raid on the first settlement... same thing. Thought it might be bad code in the newer of the 3 rivers but I guess not...

@ubi-oxavo Well I took some pics, I'm on ps4, the first pic is to show i am indeed lvl 5... my crew is all lvl 5. The 2nd pic is the completed raid house. As you can see, in one use of the bell to refresh the Raiders that pop up, 3 of them were below lvl 5. It's not like it's hard to reproduce, i'm sure it happened to at least one of them every time i refreshed that bell looking for a new crew.

Also as you can kind of tell, sometimes 1-3 of them pop up next to the shack or whatever Vagn is standing in front of instead of in the raid house (which is annoying having to go over there, then back in the Raid House to look at the rest). I found while i was rebuilding my crew that if you turn the camera while you're ringing to bell to look at that area near Vagn, no one pops there and they all pop in the Raid House like they should (I've seen things like that in other games, if you look at the spot to have it on screen and make the game render that view the screw up doesn't happen).

ALSO... as others have said in the past and it's still happening... the two raiders that're closest to the window that's on the side of the river outside often pop up UNDER THE FLOOR! I can still dodge into them (making them move), or i should say into the spot they should be in. Dodge toward their marker and they grunt while still under the floor, like you banged into them. That makes them want to move. Then I run far away (like past Vagn shack) so all the markers disappear, and when i come back they're usually back above the floor like they should be.

@ubi-orion well you should know I'm on PS4 and I'm done with the river raids, I actually had zero issues. Then again i didnt' go back to Vagn after getting any clue. I finished every river in one go before going back so i had already found all the armor and whatnot those clues point to, then he pointed me to the next river in turn.

@ubi-oxavo ya obviously the game crashed... like i said i think it had something to do with YOUR servers (since you have to connect to them for the store and the REST OF THE GAME was fine)... see what i said about THIS website in the previous post. Idk if the game servers and this site are connected in any way but it happened at the same time and resolved ITSELF later that morning... you must've missed the part where i said rebuilding the database did nothing and it still crashed afterwards.

@ubi-oxavo omg why do you people always say that? I have other things to do then your jobs... Just get on a PS4 and refresh the hall yourselves. Lvl 3 was fine like i said, raiders were always lvl 3. It was lvl 4 and 5 that didn't always bring in raiders the lvl they should've been. Like 10 times i saw a raider i liked and then i was like crap.... he's lvl 2 (or 3). You should have no problem recreating this... unless my console is just fracking weird and it was just me... which wouldn't surprise me since I seem to be one of the handful of people with a ps4 that could play any game but wouldn't get past the splash screen on God of War... I'm actually done with the river raids, and have 2 crews (main crew and a backup all lvl 5). I'm not gonna sit here refreshing the hall to make a video on my phone trying to control my character one handed checking every raider that pops up to see their lvl...

EDIT: If you want I can take a picture of my completed and obviously lvl 5 hall then find a couple raiders of the wrong lvl and take a pic of them... pics are easy.

Ok I just got my hall to level 4 so I'm redoing my crew for River Raids. This didn't happen on lvl 3 and below, lvl 3 hall summoned lvl 3's, lvl 2 summoned lvl 2's... Now it's level four. Half an hour so far of looking for raiders I like (GA, GS, Scythe, Spear, Axe, Hammer) with shields, not to mention then having to go to the normal dock, equipping who i have so far, and getting on my normal boat so i can tell what hand the 2-hand weapons are equipped in. If the shield is in the main hand (right), then they won't put it on the side of the boat when you take command, it stays on their back (and you can't see their weapon when in the boat, and that's fine... apparently you get rid of the off hand to use an oar, if it's a shield it goes on the side of the boat and if it's a off-hand weapon it goes poof till you get out). And shields have no reach and you can't block with it in the main hand. So then I have to dump anyone like that and keep looking... anyway half an hour of looking, I've got 3 guys so far, then i realize one of them is lvl 2 and one's lvl 3. What the hell? EVERYONE SUMMONED IN A LVL 4 HOUSE SHOULD BE LVL 4!

To make matters worse in the wasting my time category... half the damn raiders that're summoned are dual wielding SHIELDS??? Can you PLEASE prohibit these raiders from equipping two shields.... >.<

@bielik01 You're blaming HIM for not "acting in time"? the hell are you thinking??? He just said ALL his saves are from yesterday genius, he can't go back that far to fix it! He said that then you told him to go offline first... what, you think going offline magically makes one of your saves revert to an older one that isn't there? lol... I don't make multiple manual saves either (that's what autosaves are for in a competent game, you screw something up just go back a little farther), you think people knew beforehand without bothering to research bugs first that this would happen? You really think people come on here first before starting the dlc??? Think man... Ubisoft screwed this up, what a shocker...

I'm just glad I'm running into so many problems that I come on here like once a week when i AM trying to get through this HUGE game (when did this release? and I'm still having so many issues? >.<) playing it in spurts over the past year (playing other games in between), that I found this out. They made up my mind for me whether to buy it or not (obviously I'm not). It's taking me so long to slog through this i don't WANT to play a DLC that they release so damn long after release. I'm just going to watch a "story mode" video on youtube for Ragnorak for a couple hours after i finish the base game (actually i am, doing River Raids now) and the previous dlc.

@ubi-spacecats by the way concerning the in-game store... it's like you guys forgot to put that High Elf set in ANY section of it... the only time i can find it when i want to look at something in that set is when it's being promoted/on sale and on the front page. Like the ship's shield is in reda's shop right now, i wanted to get a closer look, i can't find the set anywhere lol... Been noticing that for months now, can't find the Elf stuff anywhere.

@ubi-spacecats As I said i already rebuilt the database. Brand new hard drive and OS install... there's nothing else to do console wise unless you think i should reinstall the game when it doesn't crash ANYWHERE ELSE but reliably crashes every time trying to access your in-game store... and it wasn't doing that even recently as last week. And I've had this hard drive in here like 3 months.

Edit: Well i just saved the game, closed my eyes, bit my lip, and hit the d-pad to open the store... after waiting like 5 minutes after coming back from a raid, wanted to be sure everything had loaded in the area. It worked... lol >.<

I'm thinking it was an error on your end that crashed my console/game when it couldn't connect. THIS site wasn't working last night either at the same time i was trying to open the store. It wouldn't load for like an hour (the site) in the middle of the night (EST). And it wasn't like the page was like blank and not loading, it said something like "unavailable " blah blah blah... and no it wasn't my modem, i had internet on anything else, and other sites were fine.

I should say i wanted to SEE the shield in the store, not see it's stats. I forgot you can see the stats in Reda's shop. Point is i can't open the in-game store, and it hasn't been long (maybe a week) since I did so no problem. Now it NEVER fails to crash the game (10 or 12 times now tonight when I've tried and it crashed every time), whether hitting right on the d-pad in the inventory screen or the store option in the main menu...

As I said rebuilding the database did nothing. Also it's a brand new hard drive, i put in a Seagate barracuda recently and put the regular seagate i HAD in the ps4 in the closet as a backup... so it's not the hard drive. And the rest of the game still plays fine... just cant' open the store.

Ok I've played this game on and off for a year now... had maybe 5 or less crashes through the entire game on a launch ps4. Now tonight I wanted to look at that Wing shield in the store to see it's stats cause it's in Reda's shop. 6 times in a ROW now every time i try to open the in-game store (hit right on the d-pad while on the world map or inventory or w/e screen of the pause menu) the game crashes with error code CE-34878-0. What the heck is going on?!?

Edit: rebuilding the database did nothing.

@ubi-mushy ok I just completely changed my crew after getting level 3. My point of all that before was when you change your RR crew, it doesn't change who's on the dock. Hell the entire lvl 2 crew I just dismissed were the ones on the dock still after dismissing them. But I just noticed after doing a raid, when you come back, it fixes it. Now the crew on the dock is all 7 of my new lvl 3's (that I have equipped). So i guess that's fine. If you change your crew, do a raid (even just start one then immediately come back i guess), when you come back it'll be the right crew on the dock...

Still, they should change right away once you leave Vagn's menu (you can change the crew w/o starting a raid, just pick a river, change crew, then exit), like they do on the normal dock.
