@jimmyboy131 You might try "verify your game files" and see if it finds anything. I remember back when TD1 (2016) was released, some were having this exact issue if they logged into the PC with an online Microsoft account. The fix back then was to create a local login. I'd think it would be a common complaint however if that was still causing it.
I'm curious. Do you know if the actual file gets over-ridden? I am not at my gaming PC to get the location, but I believe it is under your user profile, in documents and maybe a game subfolder. One idea is to get it set how you want it in game, then alt-tab out of the game and save a copy of the file. Then, when you are done exit the game. You can compare those files to see if it really does change it back on exit or on game load. If on exit, you can copy your good file over your one that keeps getting overwritten so you won't have to keep editing it in game.
They do occasionally do a cheater sweep and a bunch will go at once. Problem is it seems like a long time in between these; at least that I notice from my perspective.
I still report cheaters as I see them, and I still ignore and report all the same spammers. It doesn't seem like those would be hard to block. My Asian friend they always have the exact same message and quite often, once they do finally get banned, they just increment their username and start over.
