I only recently got this game and I want to add my voice to the horrible sound as well.
I noticed it as soon as I got into my first dialogue, Eivors voice sounds very loud where as the others are very low and sometimes barely audible as if they were talking to me from very far away.
I see this thread is almost a year old and it's still this bad.
How hard can it be to actually balance the audio to a point where its even?
Is the audio so entwined with the rest of the code that it would take years to fix or is it just that Ubisoft simply do not care what their customers think once they have our money?
Currently playing Anno 2205 and I'm having an issue where I see certain things being locked ingame and needing to be purchased in the Ubisoft club.
There is a logo I really wanted for my company, but I can't get it because nothing is available for unlock.
When I go to ubisoft connect to unlock them, they are not showing in the list.
The list only shows what I have already unlocked, but anything that are locked are for some reason not showing up.
Looking through my games in Ubisoft Connect, it seems that this is a problem with all my games with one single exception which is Assassins Creed Valhalla.
Only in AC Valhalla can I purchase rewards with the Ubisoft coins, any other game shows only what is already unlocked.
Even free rewards, if there are any, does not show up
I am for some reason unable to make a manual save, autosave works fine, just manual save that don't work.
I reported this issue 3 months ago and I had hoped that it would have been fixed with the updates, but it seems it has not.
I get no error or anything the manual save just does not work when I click on it.
Last time I played it started happening after I returned from Asgard.
It does not matter where I am or what I'm doing, I cannot manually save anywhere whatsoever(no combat or restricted areas)
I tried verifying the game files and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but nothing seems to work.
If I can't do a manual save then the game is unplayable as I can't rely on the autosaves alone.
In my research of this problem I have not been able to find others with the same problem, only people getting the "cannot save now" error, but I'm not even getting that, I just can't manually save at all.
Am I the only one who has this problem?

@ubi-borealis
It's not any specific location, it's literally anywhere.
In my settlement(Ravensthorpe), random location out in the wild, in a town/city, anywhere.
It all started after I left the Asgard quest chain unfinished, last time I was able to manually save was in Asgard
I tried going back to Asfard, but it does not help and neither does loading an old save from Asgard or before.
There has been times when it would not autosave either and I got an error message saying it could not save at this time, that however seems to be a direct result of Ubisoft Connect "forgetting" my game library, as in my library appears as empty.
If I quit the game and try to restart I'm asked to input an activation key.
Restarting Ubisoft connect will usually fixes it, but not always, sometimes I have to restart it multiple times.
As a result of these problems I don't want to play the game as I'm worried about losing progress.
@ubi-borealis
As requested I uploaded a couple screenshots with the name of the location.
One from a distance on the ground and one using the Raven for an overhead view.
But in case there is any doubt, location is Earnningstone, Grantebridgescire
I hope this is all you need.

The red circle in the picture shows the location shown in pictures 1 and 2
One detail that might be important.
I had used the explosive trap skill on some of the guards corpses and the corpse that was selected as the "Confirm Kill" target was the one where that trap had triggered so there was no corpse to confirm the kill
@ubi-theberry
I thought I had set it right, but it should be accessible now.

I just picked up an "Avenge" quest and I can't complete it because there is no corpse for me to confirm the kill.
Since the screenshots I took are too big to upload here I dropped them on my Google drive.

@bansheedragon75
Have to post a reply since I can't edit anymore.
I was able to make the recording you requested, there is about 12 seconds, I hope that sufficient.

@ubi-nacho
I do not have the game on any other platform.
I have not had any crashes beforehand.
I do unfortunately not have any means of recording a clip I can upload
What I can say is that the sound I get is the same sound as when I click on any of the other buttons in the menu
@ubi-nacho
On the main menu I see a 1.3.1 patch notes button in the bottom right corner I can click on that takes me to the patch notes, other than that I don't see anything about a version number of the game.
I tried verifying the game files to see if that would fix it, but the problem remains.
I started the Asgard quest line yesterday but did not complete it due to the bug with the world event "Milk of Humankind" where the cow will not move", and I think the problems started after that
@ubi-nacho Yes you are right it's not the response I was hoping for, but it is what I have come to expect from Ubisoft.
You develop a game where the sound is terribly unbalanced and do it in such a way that even trying to fix is difficult at best, and when the players complain about to they get the kind of reply I get here which quite frankly sounds like the usual "it's too much work so we can't be bothered to try and fix it because reasons" I have come to expect from big corporations like Ubisoft.
What the hell happened to quality control before you release a product?
