Ever since returning from Jotunheim, it seems that Eivor is drunk for like 20 seconds every time I start the game. It happens if I die as well. It doesn't happen with fast travel at least, but I'm not sure what to do anymore, it's kind of annoying.
Hey everyone,
I have played Anno for a few months a while back (I'd say 6 months ago). Haven't touched the game since.
Today, I wanted to get back to playing but all of the sudden the game is unplayable. As soon as I load the game everything stutters, freezes and occasionally crushes.
Menu is ok, no issues there, the problem happens as soon as I load a save.
I tried:
I have a Ryzen 3600 and an RTX 2070 Super. I'm not sure what to do anymore.
Here's an example of how it looks in my game.: (https://medal.tv/games/anno-1800/clips/h14tHu0SfruKh/d1337N9zsDiL?invite=cr-MSxyY2csMzE2NDk2ODYs))
The only thing I can think of that was changed since I last played the game is that I upgraded to Windows 11, but surely a company like Ubisoft already optimized the game to run on practically the same OS?
Any help would be great
Edit
Found a weird thing. When I focus on my other screen, or practically anything else than Anno, the game works smoothly in the background.
