@siryetii
You might have a point if it hadn't been nine/ten days at this time.
One of the best parts of these games in my opinion is the story, and I've been kept away from it now for eight days. My map is looking sparse and it isn't going to be a case of being an absolute monster it's going to to turn the rest of the game into a glorified cut scene due to the 200+ level difference.
Patience is one thing, but now it is just getting insulting.
@ubi-woofer
Can we all remember that the Mods/Support Staff on the forums aren't at fault for a lack of information. They're the underpaid ones having to face the masses, I'm sure if they had any new information or were able to affect change themselves they would. Cast your blame towards the higher ups making decisions on information shared, or the company as a whole not the poor team having to stand on the front lines.
To keep my reply on topic, has there been any sort of update at all Woofer? I see this fault has been moved to the other thread, but is there a more general fix potentially coming. Like the often suggested "Restart Quest" function, even if it still bugged intermittently at least it could be attempted.
@lynx33161 I don’t think Ubisoft is watching their own discussions page
@UbiKobold
Fact checked and looking accurate, counterpoint Kobold?
@expressedzero68 You say this like you think they care.
They've already got our money and all they're interested in is getting more of it, and really what can people do about it. With what they charge even if 30% of the consumers seek a refund they're still well in the green. They can leave it broken and just wear the cost.
@petteflet88
Really says something about how serious they take their fans. Especially considering the only sort of acknowledgement is including the link to this thread in another post.
"Later this month" for a fix.. Why release the game if it isn't playable until later in the month.
Right there with you buddy. I'm stick on Sons of Ragnar, as well as The Big Finish. I've done all but the wealth locked behind story content, all mysteries, legendary beasts etc.
Bit the bullet and started a new game, got stuck on Sons again. I'm just done at this point.
@rpgfiend2139
More accurately I think Ubisoft hates the game judging by the slow patches and broken state of things.

@dannspress Right now I'd classify this as "News" whether it's any good or not remains to be seen.

@sirwjr777-ubi
I can't speak for anyone else, but I started a new game and ran into the issue again. Maybe I'm just unlucky.
"@Recon4thCav @Petteflet88 I'd like to ask that you limit the speculation on what our updates will contain before they are officially announced / the patch notes become public, as this can cause confusion and disappointment. I cannot say when this issue will be fixed as that information is not yet available; but I can confirm that our next patch is due in mid-December."
@Ubi-Woofer mid-December is five days away, two days of which are weekend days which I've noticed there is typically none to limited response from anyone Ubi on the forums. Is news typically provided to your team to pass on minutes before going live or can we reasonably assume that an update is more likely to be more than a week or two away. And not by the 15th. I may be splitting hairs here but the vague "mid-December" line doesn't really work at this point of the month.

@fernatius This is in no way a defense of Ubi but considering the death threats and doxing that CDPR devs received because of their delays I can understand a hesitance to delay games. For every accepting individual out there feels like there is two more morons thinking having to be patient over a release justifies murder.

@unearnedlion678 at the rate they're addressing other issues, probably June 2021.
