I've played a few of the games and am mostly finished with this one. Having watched a few lore videos I'm pretty confused at this point.
Basim apparently wants to get revenge on Eivor for killing his son (Fenfir, the wolf). At one point, Basim around a camp fire told Eivor
someone he wholly trusted was responsible for his son's death. But he doesn't let on it was Eivor. Why doesn't Basim just try to kill
Eivor at that point?
And if Basim is the genetic memory of one of the Isu (was it Loki?) and though Basim knows he wants revenge on Eivor, why doesn't
Eivor, through his genetic memory of Odin, know about who Basim is and try to stop/disuade him? Why is he oblivious but Basim is
all about killing Eivor for revenge?
And why did Odin/Eivor have/want to kill the son/wolf in the first place.? Playing in Asgard I remember having to kill the wolf since he was
aggressive and attacking, but why the enmity to begin with? What did Loki or his son do to Odin/Eivor? What is this all about?
