This is a collection of requests for The Crew 2 by the community. Previously the list was on the forums in full, but due to the nature of the new platform(Not possible to edit old posts) I have migrated the list to a spreadsheet(Same as the vehicle request list).

This list is created by gathering player feedback from the Forums, Reddit, Discord and Community Surveys. We also do a survey to update the "stats" on each suggestion every few game updates, so everything is up to date. And we mark whatever has been added.

So how does the list work?

There is a number scale that goes from 0 to 100. With 0 it means that absolutely no one wants this feature to be added, while a 100 means completely everyone wants this(from those who filled out the survey). To make it easier to read the spreadsheet, Bellow 50 is marked as red, Between 50 and 75 is yellow, and from 75 to 100 is green. So in short, requests marked as green are favoured by the whole community.

Hello my fellow racers. This post is inspired by KernelPads post Community Request List [For Developers]. It was a great post, and I thought that it needs to be done the same for The Crew 2, so here it is. I will try to keep it updated often, and eventually there will be a survey that will allow you to vote on how much you want to have these features.

REJECTED IDEAS

Police: It has been stated many times that Police will not be added to the game, as it doesn’t fit the theme and the creative direction of what the devs want the game to be. It also could hinder getting licenses for new vehicles, and adding police would most likely require to renegotiate already acquired vehicle licenses, thus making the addition of Police too expensive for the low demand it has had.

Purchasable Summit Platinum rewards: Exclusive summit rewards will remain exclusive to the summit, they might return in a future summit, but again as a platinum reward.

Second, I would like to reiterate what the others have mentioned: We do not plan to release the Platinum rewards in the shop. I can understand this is upsetting for you, but as the others have mentioned, it would not be fair to those who worked hard and grinded for the cars. I appreciate your suggestion, as it has been suggested in the past, but as for now, we do not have plans to add them to the shop.

VR Support: While the addition of VR would be cool, the time and cost required to implement it in the game is too high for it to make sense. There are far more important things that need to be addressed.

Hello Motornation! With how The Crew 2 has released its updates it became an obvious trend that the content that gets added and, some times, the idea of the update seems to not be fully explored and in all cases, later it is never added upon. We do get 1 or 2 things added every few updates to older content, like the demo derby vehicles were expanded a tiny bit, but there are no new Hovercraft races for example.
I was wondering what you all think of this method of keeping the game updated, do you like that the developers push updates so fast and every time try to find a new aspect to add, but in the process sacrifice the quality, or would you rather see old content be worked on to fully implement the idea they first brought in? As in make the old new instead of adding a new thing that we play for the season and move on to the next right after, never to touch it again?

Once editing is permitted to older posts, I will fix the formatting on the post, as well as make a new survey to update the data. I was hoping to get a survey going with the next update as it is right around the corner. I might still make it and publish screenshots from the spreadsheet with the data, and hopefully one day get the chance to edit original post.

Police: It has been stated many times that Police will not be added to the game, as it doesn’t fit the theme and the creative direction of what the devs want the game to be. It also could hinder getting licenses for new vehicles, and adding police would most likely require to renegotiate already acquired vehicle licenses, thus making the addition of Police too expensive for the low demand it has had.

Purchasable Summit Platinum rewards: Exclusive summit rewards will remain exclusive to the summit, they might return in a future summit, but again as a platinum reward.

VR Support: While the addition of VR would be cool, the time and cost required to implement it in the game is too high for it to make sense. There are far more important things that need to be addressed.
