@ubi-borealis another thing I noticed too is that the priest is at the entrance of the village. Talking to him with the other two doesn't change anything, even after clearing the objective. He states he will meet us after the city has been cleared.

I have a video of it as well but it will not let me upload a video. States that I do not have enough privilege.

Following this post. I am having the same issue in this part of the story. I went away, came back, killed all the soldiers. Even killed Eivor by drowning. Nothing happens and I am stuck on this part of the quest. Any updates to this?
