Hi, Since the update this morning everytime I play I can play for about five minutes and then the screen goes black and there is a buzzing noise. There is nothing I can do but restart my computer, Dell Alienware R17 M3. This has happened twice this morning and renders the game unplayable.
I tried submitting a customer support request via ubisoft connect but it won't let me submit via email and the chat is currently unavailable.
Thanks!
@bobbiedigital Update it is still happening periodically i think it might have something to do at the temp the cpu/gpu is running
Ubisoft support got back to me and this seems to have worked
Thank you so much for all of that information. I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this kind of crashing and freezing! Would you be able to give the following steps a try for me, just to see if they help? : >> https://ubi.li/wt62J

Thank you so much for those! Let's go ahead and try a clean reinstall of your Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables.
For the Microsoft Visual Studio C++ redistributables, you'll want to first check to see which packages you already have installed. You can do this easily from the Control Panel.
1. Press the Windows key and R at the same time.
2. In the search bar, type Control Panel and press the Enter key.
3. On the window that pops up, click Uninstall a program.
4. Scroll through the list and take note of the entries that begin with Microsoft Visual C++. There may be few, but be diligent!
5. Once you've got a list, you can uninstall the programs one by one by right-clicking the entry and selecting Uninstall.
6. Now that we've got a clean slate to work with, we can reinstall those files. Click on each applicable link below to download and reinstall the files you've just taken note of. Please reinstall them in order of year, from oldest to newest. For example, 2010, 2012, 2013, and so on.

It didn't fix it straight away., it crashed two more times and only started working when I started recording it with my phone to send to support.
So what are we all supposed to do? Just wait and hope they fix the issues? If I start a new game I'm not sure I'll come back to AC Valhalla despite being about 50% through it.
@marram93 Yep, sounds like the same thing. Was working perfectly yesterday.
