I can pretty much guarantee one thing, if by the time they patch this POS if I still can't play this game at 1440p @ Ultra settings with HD textures on w/o using FSR with my 5900X and RTX 3080, you can rest assured I will not purchase another game from this shady company again. I boycotted Ubi for 10 years due to shady business practices a while back and have no objections to do it again.

Looking more and more like these scumbags are going to release DLC for this game before patching this broken POS.

Aside from the fact that we are still stuck waiting for a fix for this texture issue regardless of HD Pack or not, I find it rather sad that they are basically screwing more than 95% of their customers by limiting the HD Texture pack to 16GB VRAM or higher cards. How am I coming up with that figure, well if you look at the Steam Hardware Survey which shows that less than 3.5% of their users have 16GB VRAM or higher....so yea, I really hope that AMD money was worth screwing over the vast majority of your PAYING CUSTOMERS.

@ubi-borealis I really wish you people would get your facts in order since there are now apparently 3 different "required amounts of ram" for the HD pack, which the hell is it? Because when I run the game on my RTX 3080 I get told by the game that it requires 11GB of VRAM, you just stated 12GB and there is also 16GB shown elsewhere so what the hell is it?

On another note, if you stick with this requirement and don't make it so the RTX 3080, the damn flagship for Nvidia can play this game WITH the HD pack, I can guarantee this will be the last Ubisoft game I ever purchase and I know I am not alone in stating that.

Fun fact, since Ubi-***** can't seem to fix this pathetic excuse for a game I requested a refund and was immediately refused. If this stays like this and you don't fix this ***** show of a game that I haven't been able to even play for weeks this will be the LAST GAME I EVER BUY FROM UBI-*****!!!!!

@jotarodazpa You can NOT have a RTX 3080 with 16GB of VRAM, they do not exist, at best you could have a RTX 3080 TI with 12GB of VRAM. I believe you are confusing RAM with VRAM which are completely different things.
ALL RTX 3080's have 10GB of VRAM.
