@memnon53 You did nothing wrong except maybe trusting Ubisoft for yet another fully bugged game.
You just joined the ranks of several players stuck in Asgard. The only way out is to load a previous game. I'm hoping for you it's not too far away.
In my case it was 4 hours in game time since the stupid autosave system allows 5 slots but fills them in like 30 seconds. By the time you realize you're stuck, you got no save left previous to the bug and are stuck in a loop.
I uninstalled, cursing these people, to never buy anything of them ever again.

As for myself and many others, the "Wake up" option is grey'd out, thus cannot be interacted with. Since I already did all the activities in Asgard during my first visit there is nothing that could eventually trigger anything in the script.
Yes it's obviously a bug... That's the problem.
Yeah, what's with the blue and gold color on almost every piece of gear upgraded to mythic quality ? From weapons to armor, even boots !
I personally hate the gold color this was a really big issue for me.
The Thegn armor, for example, was a almost cool as long as it stayed with the red cape and simple metal color. But, when upgraded, the cape becomes blue with gold lines (eww), kinda looks like an ugly curtain. Boots got fully gold plated also, and so on.
Even the supposedly "stealthy armors" end up all shiny and goldy (Hidden ones set is the ugliest of all : green + gold = yuk)
Obvisouly this is a matter of personnal taste, but a bit of variety in coloring would at least satisy the majority, not just the 90's bling bling kaching hip-hop cliché fans.
