So I usually don't unlink/relink my account before playing except on the last night the weekly challenges are available. On that night I unlink/relink until it starts working and I can complete at least a few of the challenges. Sometimes this only takes one or two tries, and sometimes it doesn't work at all even after dozens of tries.
Also, I looked at the only other Ubisoft game I have that tracks challenges: Watch_Dogs Legion. On that game all aspects of Connect (weekly challenges, stats, etc.) tracked my progress without having to unlink/relink my account.
Hi. So Ubisoft Connect isn't tracking any of my progress on my AC Valhalla game on my PS5. Not timed challenges, stats, core challenges, nothing. I am also having that delay that Enkidu98 was having but that is new, while this issue with Connect has been happening for about a year. I talked about this issue with someone in a separate thread but I haven't heard anything back in a long while so I thought I would post about it again.

@ubi-woofer No, the core statistics are not tracking correctly either.
@ubi-theberry Its not really accurate to say there are time periods when the tracking stops. That implies that it works most of the time and only goes down for a few hours, or that it stops tracking in the middle of a play session, which isn't what's happening. Its more like the tracking doesn't start when I log in automatically and only starts some of the time when I log in manually.
Its kind of like there's a switch that turns the tracking on and off and it is supposed to flip on when I start the game and off when I shut off the game. For me, that switch isn't getting flipped on when I start the game with my account already linked and only starts occasionally when I unlink and then relink my account. It switches off fine when I close the game, but starting back up takes some effort. Does that make sense?
@ubi-woofer By approximate time periods, do you mean to ask if the issue is limited to only certain times of the day? If so, then no, this issue happens regardless of when I start playing the game. That said, I usually play around 11 pm EST, which again I don't think matters but I thought I would mention it. I usually check my progress on the in-game overlay. Also, I am the only gamer in my house, though I have noticed this issue with other Ubisoft games, such as Immortals Fenyx Rising.
@ubi-borealis Very long time periods. If unlinking and relinking my account works (it doesn't always but it has been working more often lately), it will usually track my progress without problems until I close the game. When I start it back up again, then it goes back to not tracking my progress. Basically I have to do the unlink/relink thing before every play session if I want it to track my progress.

Once again, I apologize for the very long time between replies. Anyway, I've tried a few of the troubleshooting tips you suggested and none of them worked. I've even connected my internet directly to my PS5 and it still doesn't track my progress. I don't know what the problem is, but I'm pretty sure the issue is not on my end.

I apologize for the very late reply on my end. I checked my connection and everything appears fine on that end. My NAT type is type 2, my download speed is consistently between 50-90 Mbps and my upload speed is around 12 Mbps. Whatever the issue is, its not being caused by connectivity issues.
I will say, lately I've had to do the whole disconnect and reconnect process fewer times to get connected than in the past. It used to be I spent over an hour doing that before I could get results, now it usually takes less than 15 minutes, so there has been improvement. Still, ideally I wouldn't have to do it at all.

I'm still having this problem. I won a dice game today and it the timed challenge isn't showing as completed. Like I said in my previous comment I have been having this problem for months and it takes unlinking and reconnecting my playstation account several times to get it working.
So I've been having this same problem for months now. I've only been able to get my progress on the timed challenges to record after unlinking and relinking my account from my Playstation, and even then I have to do it several times before it works.
