I have the same problem on pc and i played several side quests. This kind of sucks because i took free from work to play this game.

I got the same issue on pc, please fix this!

I found a work arround: Go fullscreen and everytime a loadingscreen with the character appears alt + tab till the sound is gone and alt tab back repeat these steps till you see the whitebar in the loading screen.

@ubi-swaggins Oke i found out some more stuff. The autosave option is hyperactive. When i load a manual save everything is fine, but when i load a autosave my pc reboots.

@bumbumsel Nop, this savegame makes my pc crash as well.

@ubi-swaggins i did all of that, but i found something out.

My savegame was the reason that my pc crashes. I was able to load an other file in and this time it worked fine.
It's kind of hardcore to shutdown a pc when a savegame is corrupted tho.

@cyph3rx2 thought about my psu aswell. That is why i stress tested the pc and the psu. And other games work perfectly well.

I have a problem with the game AC Valhalla. Some times after i die and have to reload a savefile my pc instantly reboots. So i stress tested my system and it works perfectly fine. I have the latest nvidea drivers installed and i got the newest version of valhalla.
ryzen 3600
rtx 2070
msi b450 tomahawk pro
32GB ram
And the game is installed on a SSD.
The windows activity collector shows this critical error: Kernel-Power "The system was incorrectly been shutdown, this error likely appears when the system does not respond any more"

Self i highly suspect the game for this inconvenience. And my question is does anyone know a fix or encounters the same problem?

I fixed it by starting a new game when the download is completed.
